I think it's more than fair to say we could have gotten more than a backup PG and a 2nd before the deadline.
If not, then you can't make the argument that S&Ts are when you net the least returns/don't get much.

We just turned an overrated, overpriced guard into two bench players for less overall money. We all hated Lonzo and now we all think he's worth more? This team needed capable bench players and now we have the flexibility to work more deals

The amount of crying in here 35 minutes into free agency is pathetic really.

Well, this simply did not work out better than trading him at the deadline would have worked.
Don't remind them what they've been saying for the last year. They've forgotten all that now that the opposite happened. Now they're gonna do what they always do and sunshine pump everything this franchise does, whether it makes any sense or not.

Because it's the deal that was agreed to. We can always just throw a bunch of bullshite additional pieces and teams to the mix to make ourselves feel better now, but we came out of this with no value whatsoever.
