Yeah so far I hate this move. But there's a ton of variables that can change that opinion

Sorry I’m not a sunshine pumper and am being realistic. This roster hasn’t improved but at least we’re going to clear that space for our superstar Dinwiddie, right? Come on man. You’re smarter than that.

Satoransky is fine as a big bench guard.

How do you know we are even "bringing them in"

Take a fricking deep breath.

the vast majority of this board is far too emotional and single minded. You can tell the calibre of rational thinker we have around here.

We don't, but we can reasonably assume.

I think it's more than fair to say we could have gotten more than a backup PG and a 2nd before the deadline.

If not, then you can't make the argument that S&Ts are when you net the least returns/don't get much.

It has.

And we are 35 minutes into the offseason.

Now explain to me how this trade helps us win.

We got back of the bench guys and one guy not pouting like Toní while Rich Paul sits center court.

Klutch wanted him gone. He’s now gone.

We just turned an overrated, overpriced guard into two bench players for less overall money. We all hated Lonzo and now we all think he's worth more? This team needed capable bench players and now we have the flexibility to work more deals

The amount of crying in here 35 minutes into free agency is pathetic really.

All for a guy who can only play off ball defense and make catch and shoot 3s (occasionally)

Seems we never had real interest to move him then, just cursory discussions.

Didn't griffin ask Alonzo if he wanted to stay at the deadline and he said yes, so he kept him

Grain of salt, but Real GM was speculating that this was going to be opened up into a three way deal with Charlotte.

It's like we further helped the bulls make this happen by bringing in their salary cause I don't think they could afford Lonzo if we didn't.

Exactly, if they aren't useful players, which they aren't, we just gave them Ball and cap relief for a fricking second. This is an arse deal.

Using the $ next season to sign Leonard, Durant, Harden and Kyrie to all start with Zion. Ingram will come off the bench.

Right. This isn't about this S&T specifically, I know S&Ts don't net much in return.

But the same people saying we were never going to match were also stating it was good to not trade him at the deadline because we had options to keep him or S&T.

Well, this simply did not work out better than trading him at the deadline would have worked.

Don't remind them what they've been saying for the last year. They've forgotten all that now that the opposite happened. Now they're gonna do what they always do and sunshine pump everything this franchise does, whether it makes any sense or not.

The only thing we hope that can happen is Lonzo sucks this year. Lavine then wants to leave to another team.

Because it's the deal that was agreed to. We can always just throw a bunch of bullshite additional pieces and teams to the mix to make ourselves feel better now, but we came out of this with no value whatsoever.

Sato is a solid backup point guard, temple is a vet and culture guy who plays D and can shoot the 3 a bit
