He didn't say this in the clip you posted. He was mad he got traded and pretended to be excited to come here.

He didnt say he didnt want to play for new orleans, maybe just that he "didnt want to go to new orleans bro". So at least he didnt not want to play for new orleans.

He was being a professional. He knew he did not have the stroke to bitch about it.
And when he got here he wanted to play good and win bc he is a professional.
Same for when he was traded to Portland. I am sure he was excited about going to NY

Josh's face when he was on Portlands bench during our playoff season was not of someone happy to be off the Pels.

I’ve seen another interview where he shite on the franchise not that I blame him but the city did show him love

Its a shame because he quickly became many Pels fans favorite player in his short time with the team, including me. I still hope he and Jose win it all but this is how we as an organization are viewed to players. No prime free agents are coming to this team knowing we have a cheap owner who will never pay the 1st apron tax and a front office that is the definition of a lazy hire. Jose has to be thinking just a couple months ago he was on one of the shittiest teams in the league and now he is close to winning a title in his hometown.

This is the real issue
It’s consistently mentioned enough at this point that it’s not just a couple disgruntled castoffs
We are not viewed favorably at all by anyone and it’s seemingly for valid reasons.

I’m glad he said this. Can we stop glazing these players that don’t actually like New Orleans. Give flowers to guys like CP3 who worked their arse off to make this team relevant.
No player is excited about living here. The city itself is okay to young players. There’s definitely worse options but also a lot more exciting ones. Then you add how horrible the franchise itself is for decades and it becomes one of the least desirable teams in the league. Bottom 5

This is one of the main problems in the NBA that nobody wants to admit. The majority of players in today's NBA only want to play in NY, LA, or Miami. Sometimes Texas due to the tax laws. Pretty much anywhere else & they are trying to get out to go to one of those 3 to 4 possible places. And unfortunately, no players really want to play in New Orleans. George Shinn poisoned the well so bad & now Gayle isn't helping the situation. Combine that with the small market issues & here we are.

You think Hart gave less than full effort when he was here?

I dont think so...
There are plenty of players that just want to play in the NBA and dont care if its the Pelicans... but a few years in New Orleans grinds them down into beaten men. See: Jones, Herb

New Orleans is not the best city to live in.
High crime rate, terrible roads, climate...mediocre night life outside of Bourbon
That's why everyone just goes to the food.
Just being honest.

I mean, most guys wouldn’t be excited about being traded to New Orleans, but I do think he enjoyed his time here, regardless of what he says

the league is a fricking shite show and joke when fans have to sit here and listen to fricking players making millions, like 8 figure millions on up and us common folk have to sit here listening to them bitch about which cities they rather player for and which cities they were dejected to live in while making millions for a couple years. like frick them all.
