Jeremiah Fears has had a horrific start to the season too.

Lost in all of this is just how poorly Fears's start is, which is doubly depressing

It’s pretty obvious that he’s not a point guard. He doesn’t play anything like a PG and is not a good passer. He’s a SG in a PG’s body.

Yep. I'm not exactly as high on Fears as others because of this. All those Chris Paul comparisons I see floated around make me shake my head. I still think he could develop into a fantastic player, don't get me wrong. But damn, we have a roster full of 1-dimensional players. Never seen anything like it.

The Pels are in a very very rough spot.

Bad lineups. He's not going to be successful playing with a bunch of lane cloggers. He's a lane clogger himself out there. They also don't have any two man action he can fall on. A lot of taking turns with the ball for the starters.

His best lineups is with the bench. It was always a risky idea to start him with Murray when in reality they're both the same type of player with the difference of Murray being a much more polished player.

Fears is rough right now and he wants to be the focal point but they can't do that without committing to the rebuild.

Fears development doesn't work a lot of these guys. He's a ball dominant type who needs volume.

He's definitely looked like a young player who is pressing at times to start this season. I think he just needs a good game or two and it will turn around. If we are 15-20 games into the season and he still looks like this then I will be concerned, but I am not expecting that to happen.

I also think the mic'd up of Deandre telling Fears to act like he's a future MVP shows how important he is to this team. It takes most young guards some time to figure out their game at the NBA level and Deandre helping guide him through a rough start to the season is huge. You don't want a guy who has the potential of Fears losing his confidence.

Just a theory but with everyone not named Zion, Bey or Missi looking worse this year, lineups and whatever other changes they made to the offense are causing guys to struggle.

Another shite draft pick by Dumbass Dumars.

He and Queen are classic tweeners. Their skill set would be great if they were 3-4" taller.

I think Pels are prioritizing developing Fears over winning now. I’d rather team start a veteran and let Fears get his developmental minutes off the bench.

Yeah I would like both so much more if they were taller. Instead you have a 6’3 SG and a 6’9 center in 2026 and neither can shoot. It’s the complete opposite of how basketball is played in 2026

22 points
13 assists
8 rebounds
4 blocks
2 steals
3 turnovers

Trade Murray, start Fears, start Herb, cut Poole.
