That’s fair and understandable. Very curious what KD does now

I’m not interested in throwing away all our assets for a one year rental. You know he’s going to barely play and demand a trade the following season. No thanks.

obviously KD and Griff would have to come to an understanding that he will want to be here. I think he wouldn’t mind it tbh.

He's going to sign with LA, I would put money on it.

Anything you give up is for a rental....a rental of one of the most toxic superstars this generation that also happens to get hurt all the time.

They gonna trade away their entire future for him? They really don’t have anything.

They have some firsts they can part with. The question is will they do it this time?

I sort of could see them deciding that Kyrie is the guy Pelinka will break out the remaining firsts for. Cause lets be honest, if the Lakers go into the Playoffs with a healthy AD, Lebron, and Kyrie, they can beat anyone.

And if they convince themselves Kyrie will be different here, they can probably convince themselves they can use FA to fill out the margins before inking Kyrie back.

wouldn't trade a fake 2nd round pick for Kyrie.

Have you seen us play the last month, I'm getting so desperate I would take pudding back we need some serious shooting help.

I think he’s going to LAC and not LAL. They desperately need a PG.

Give me YUTA

If the locker room drama speculation is even 10% true Kyrie would tear that shite down. Want nothing to do with that guy. He's a snake.

Idc what it takes get him!

I'm guessing his first request would be that Morris Bart sit further away from the team bench

Lol. That will never happen. MB is still upset that Benson snagged the team from him and the ownership group he was putting together.

Would be very interesting.

Lakers have no assets to do an offseason sign and trade. With just Lebron and AD, they only have $36mil in salary cap space. If i understand Kyrie's 5 year $200mil max extension eligibility, I think it would start just under that amount, so the Lakers can technically pay him.

But they would have their entire salary cap tied up in 3 places which basically means they could add 1 more player with the MLE and essentially the rest of the team would be vet minimums.

Again, that's if I understand it all correctly.

I don’t think Kyrie can coexist with Luka

Kyrie has destroyed every lockerroom he's been in.

Yea I’m 100% sure they would. Kyrie is a nut job but he’s still a great player plus he has a previous relationship with Lebron.
