Ironically, their total collapse without Luka was probably the perfect scenario if you wanted to feed the conditions for Cuban to think he needs to overpay for a toxic player like Kyrie.

Cause that team really is just Luka.

Wood is good for what he is, but our struggling team, off no sleep and jet lag and banged up, would have ran a Luka-less Dallas out the gym

HELL NO to Kyrie

Elaborate.

He’s one of the top point guards in the nba, and currently averaging 27 per game.

We’ve lost 10 in a row.

Personality aside, pels need talent.

Why would you want a cancer on your team. Irving is a great player but he’s a terrible teammate.

Kyrie won a championship in Cleveland and was making backroom pushes to leave. Boston was on the up and he toxified that locker room and pushed his way out. He goes to Brooklyn, toxifies that franchise, burns the bridge with Harden, shows no loyalty to Durant; who has stood by him thick and thin…and people want to spend assets to bring that guy HERE!

I hear you to an extent but also think much of this is hyperbole

His personality can't be put aside. If it could we wouldn't be talking about him today. A team would need to be the right combination of desperate and arrogant to think Kyrie was the answer to their problems.

About Kyrie?

It’s more an understatement

He’s living toxicity

How many teams does this guy need to ruin before people understand there is more to a player than dribbling and shooting skills? At least if you aren’t LA

Give up anything for him and watch him play next year….for the Lakers

He is not solely responsible for ruining any of the teams he’s been on.

Has he created issues, particularly with the nets? Yes. But to say he’s ruined teams is a dramatic.

Cleveland, Boston, and Nets. And that is not to mention the Jewish people.

It's still unreal to me that this summer people were claiming that Ingram was more valuable than KD.

Boston was better and went deeper in the playoffs the years he was hurt than the years he played.

Brooklyn has been a complete shite show on Kyrie's part.

I don't think that was the narrative. It was we were content with what BI brought (healthy) with the play of the team then. I believe everyone knew what KD was. Most agreed he was best player in NBA. Most agreed he would not want to be in NO and cost too much.

Kyrie won't resign there.

The Nets can risk it and not trade him before the deadline for a title run, but would you really trust that Kyrie is going to be mentally there? That's not mentioning Kyrie has done nothing of note in the playoff since he left that Lebron guy.

The cost of that risk is potentially the 2 1sts that the Lakers may be willing to give you for Kyrie, which potentially is more than any other team may offer if Kyrie tells teams he won't sign an extension with them.

If we assume KD wants in on New Orleans, Brooklyn would tell us to keep Graham and they'd keep Claxton.
