We will see. But it has happened before. Green is actually graded higher than Cunningham by a lot of people. Many think he will lead the league in scoring many times. They also have an All Star SF and took a PG early last year (Cunninghan is a point forward type). Green is honestly a better fit for them. Mobley is an even better fit.

They will probably take Cunningham. But they are fishing pretty hard..

All this stuff with Cade seems to me like people just trying to be different. The guy carried a team that wasn’t that great, was clutch, can score, shoot, pass, defend, and fits the mold of guys having success in the league. Also wants to be in Detroit. It’s kind of silly to me how he is getting picked apart by some people.

You drop Cade in that Pistons lineup and they are immediately a fun playoff team. They have nice young players to build with him. I don’t see how Green coming in chucking up shots fits better for them than Cade.

Having Killian Hayes should not stop you from taking Cade. They can definitely play together, if Hayes is even any good. Cade is a bigger better version of Hayes with higher floor and upside than even the best idea of what Hayes was supposed to be.

I think Cade has star written all over him and he will have to try to bust out, but he has a potentially limited "superstar ceiling"

A guy like Green has that potential but can be a complete bust. Some teams like that potential-projection.

Wouldn’t take people long to find reasons to shite on SGA, just like every other player we acquire. Y’all would be saying let’s trade for Ingram if he played on another team

I can't wait for the "Fire Willie Green" thread that will happen after our first loss of the season.

We'll be lucky if we don't see any of those within the first two quarters of our first game

We should think of an esoteric response we can all have prepared for when some fricking fair weather bitch rolls in here posting trash “Fire Green” garbage first game…

Like a Baron meme or something.

Someone convince me that offering the war chest for SGA isn’t the absolute best move we could make because I’m fricking sold

Leave Bunchy alone. It takes him some time to get his emotions in check.

Zach Lowe doesn’t buy the SGA rumor and that it is prime disinformation season. Sounds about right

Would think so. Does not make sense for them to trade him.

I would turn down a naked supermodel in my bed with lottery tickets shoved up her arse.

The key here is “would”. That’s speculation, click bait.

That doesn’t stop the Warriors. When you get a potential all star offered to you with a pick just to move down 3 spots. You don’t say no.
