Hopefully Griff doesn’t get too tunnel visioned on old man Lowry and doesn’t at least give OKC a strong arse offer

I think if one of teams picking top 4 offered up their pick then that package could trump ours depending on what else we/they include because we don’t really have that asset like Slow mentioned.

All we have to offer is a ton of lottery tickets. But we could offer the most lottery tickets.

The weird part is Cunningham might not be the first pick. Supposedly the Pistons really like Green and Mobley. They can easily take Green, who fills a big need for them (premier scorer).

If they do bypass him, the Rockets will get a haul for the 2nd pick from OKC, which would include SGA..

yeah if Cade falls to 2, I can definitely see SGA going to Houston so OKC gets Cade. that's the one outlier scenario

If that happens, we are screwed, as Houston will leap back into the playoff chase. Cause if they get SGA, they are loading up again and they will have a ton of options to add around SGA..

98% chance Pistons pick Cade.

Cade’s already been in Detroit multiple times and has been giving the guy standing ovations at baseball games. No way in hell Detroit all of a sudden goes “you know what never mind”

We will see. But it has happened before. Green is actually graded higher than Cunningham by a lot of people. Many think he will lead the league in scoring many times. They also have an All Star SF and took a PG early last year (Cunninghan is a point forward type). Green is honestly a better fit for them. Mobley is an even better fit.

They will probably take Cunningham. But they are fishing pretty hard..

I do. He is an All Star and a proven winner. OKC had to sit him down last year, so that they could intentionally lose. He can play either backcourt spot and thrived at both. I believe he has top 10 value, when you factor in potential. Him and Zion together would be the best duo in the league. We just don't have what it takes to get him..

In terms of 1sts, no we don't. We can get him if we latched Ingram on a deal, but that'd be stupid to do so.

We have like 7 first round picks at our disposal lol.

I doubt ingram interests them at all. If we included ingram it would have to be a 3 team deal

It's all a gamble, okc wants a superstar. Those picks may not even be lotto picks. They're not being forced to trade him, they're choosing to do so. The price is a lot higher than a disgruntled star

OKC wants a top 3 pick this year. We don't have one. They want a rookie that could be a potential Superstar. That what they are shopping for..

I would like SGA, but he’s just not reasonably attainable this year.

I’m tired of getting reamed by Presti.

I know this isn’t actually happening (at least not this year), but I’d much rather unload the war chest for SGA than Beal or even Dame. He fits our timeline, fits our roster, plays defense, and having NAW on the team feels like a connection that could actually keep SGA here and happy.
