They have put things in motion and multiple people are pushing for it. Just one or two more key people need to be convinced. I bet they get convinced during the break.

I think Silver has his choice between AD getting shut down or the Pels blatantly tanking while he is on the court.

Especially after this game, how can anyone be convinced that AD playing is good for the NBA or good for the Pelicans?

An AD-less Pels versus the Lakers at home on 2/23 would make that game more fun than with AD on the court. Everyone can direct their ire solely towards the Lakers

When AD was playing the, "i just wanna play basketball" card , I understand where he was coming from, even if I disagreed.
I knew he'd half arse on defense. But I assumed he would wanna keep his offensive numbers up.
It seems like he doesn't even care about the offensive end either, though.
So whats the point of him wanting to play then? I don't understand the thinking.
