Don't be a wet blanket. He's a third center backup. We're out Billy and Jax. It's not a make or break signing in any way.

We're still woefully thin at backup pf/c aside from "Larry Nance"

Cody Zeller is actually fine in regular season games when he gets big minutes against non elite big men

I also think he’s at least a slight upgrade over Billy defensively.

Good character. Good teammate. Plays hard.

Probably not who we wanted, but the backup big market got out of hand. And you also have to get them to choose New Orleans over other destinations that had more money to offer (which is a tall task)

Yes, the NBA actually covers like 1.1 million of it, Pels salary is 2.02 million
