IIRC, one change to the new CBA is that we now get a third two way contract.

Was wondering how we had 3. I thought I remembered someone bringing it up but it slipped my mind.

That still doesn’t mean anything to me. We need to add a young center on the roster. Then if we still have 2 2 ways then add 2 more centers to it!

That is the ONLY position we have 0 answers for the future. We should have 1-2 rookie centers on roster and 2 2 way centers until one is worth a shite.

Great move. He’s a solid backup big man for basically a vet minimum deal. Nothing not to like about this deal. Would have targeted someone like Eubanks or Biyombo but this is fine as the 3rd center. Basically takes Willy/Jaxon’s role. Smart bet that has played in Borrego’s system many years.

Also I see a lot of people saying we need a backup 4 for Zion. I don’t really see that as a big need. Trey played the 4 just fine last year with his length and we even had BI and Naji there at times. The league is going smaller so I think we are ok. I hope one of Liddell or Matkovic works out and makes the team because that would solidify the 4 spot. Our roster is set barring a big trade that I don’t see happening. Any moves from here on will be these vet minimum type deals to round out the bottom 3-4 spots on the roster.

He broke his leg half way through his last year. And didn’t go to the combine/ has no stats from the combine. So yes that affected his draft potential.

Herb was the SEC defensive player of the year. Is that title meaningless?

He had multiple 5,6,7 block games and against SEC teams. 9 blocks against LSU.

Yeah it might be nothing but there’s definitely some potential there. More hope than project Jaxson.
