Portland has every intention of waiving Hart this Summer. They are looking for as much cap space as they can conjur.

And then we re-sign Hart to the MLE.

That second unit, oh shite.

Jose
DG
Hart
Jax
Billy Goat (or nance I’d we keep him).

Wonder if we’ll ship out Devonte this offseason. Or at least try to

If Jose keeps playing the way that he has been, then we are paying Graham entirely too much to be our #3 PG.

I think we will have to see what this team looks like with Zion playing first. But I agree, Graham isn’t a good enough combo guard to be the guy that gets you a bucket. He also hasn’t shot consistently enough to be a reliable sharpshooter. That might change if he has less ball handling responsibilities, but if we have the opportunity to upgrade either in the offseason or by next years deadline we should do it.

Also, by next years deadline there could be a couple more superstars looking to move elsewhere. A player like KAT could be looking to move….I would trade Graham, Val, and Hayes to them along with picks for a player of his caliber.

I just don’t see us making a move like that for KAT or another superstar. We just made our move and only have a few spots to fill in.

Why should we trade Graham when he likes it here, has been playing well, and has a good contract? If Alvarado keeps playing well then Kira is the odd man out IMO.

Get to the offseason and re sign Josh Hart. Use Temple and Kira to get another role player during the offseason in any position.

Roll out a bench of Jose/ Graham/ Hart/ (Nance, Hayes, Billy).

I’m just saying, it should be something to consider….we should at least look at upgrading to a guard with better size, defense, and scoring ability. Outside the f Graham’s ball handling, there isn’t anything else he adds.

If we make noise at the end of this year, and beginning of next year then we really should look at adding talent while we still have young players like Herb on small deals. You won’t have to pay Zion yet, and you can use the useful contracts and leftover draft capital to bring in that player to elevate us to the top.

I agree with you but like Mac said, we won’t do that until CJ’s contract expires.

Right now Snell and Temple are the only people not in our long term plans. I’d say we either convert 1 of Alvarado/ Kira to SG or we trade Kira + Temple + 2nds for someone.

The season after that, that would put us at having 4 guys making over $30 million. I doubt that's feasible.

Except that he really has not been playing well. I would say the contract is OK, but he certainly has not outplayed it.

I said it when he re-signed that he might be the most underrated player while having the best contract in the league.

Love you billyyy.

And now it’s time to move Hayes back into the starting lineup.

PG- CJ/ Jose
SG- BI/ Graham
SF- Jones/ Murphy (though really Temple)
PF- Hayes/ (Nance)
C- Jonas/ Billy

Can’t wait

So if we wind up in the 8th seed and the Lakers in the 9th or 10th seed, would we have two first round picks?
