Supposedly he used to do a lot of outreach in Sacramento and a ton of PR stuff for the team.
In that context, he is supposed to be a good guy.
From a professional standpoint, though, he was a prick to almost everyone he was supposed to work with to win, which makes him a horrible teammate.

Yeah, I can’t root for injuries,
and I can’t really root for a coach to be fired.

Wonder if this might open up AD's eyes. Passing on that supermax, he thinks he's gonna sign a bunch of one year deals once this contract is up like KD did to recoup the money he's gonna lose by not resigning with us.
Boogie should be a great example of how shite can happen in an instance. And he's way more injury prone than Boogie ever was.

I believe in Karma so I would never wish injuries on a NBA player, I believe boogie will come out a better person out of all of this though. Wishing him the best

DeMarcus to you.
He's set for life.
Your point about Davis makes sense.

I dont root for injuries. I hoped his recovery would be slow because im a scorned fan. That said, you couldnt come up with a better example of why this was such a retarded move on his part, along with the doubling down and basically trashing an entire franchise en route to a bullshite ring
Amen.
I'm not rooting for injuries but I'm certainly not shedding a tear over this douche.
Dream scenario was for him to not win a championship and not get a better contract than what we offered. The injury hurts his contract, now if the Warriors would just screw it up.

Wasn't his Achilles tear on the right foot? He ends up tearing the quad on the same side; a little over a year later. Sounds like someone fricked up his rehabilitation plan; or he got a shitty genetic hand dealt when it comes to tendons and muscles. Either way; I wonder how he feels about that 4-D chess he was playing now.
ETA: I checked, the Achilles was the left. The new injury is still on some level, probably the result of the added stress over the last year that the Achilles tear brought.

He likely didn’t diet, which he really should have done considering how much weight he was carrying.
Big men have foot and leg problems to begin with but being overweight makes it far worse.

His entire plan has now backfired. He will get another one year prove it deal for peanuts and will be over 30 the year after that coming off 2 serious injuries. Good luck getting a long term big deal with that resume.
And even if the Dubs win a ring again, he will have contributed less than what the team ball boy has towards that effort....

What an idiot

frick it resign Dell to a one day contract and let him offer Boogie a one year league minimum deal just to troll him.

Boogie should have talked to Elton Brand after he tore his Achilles. He is literally having the same problems and if history repeats, his career is all but over.
Elton Brand Confession
quote:
“The most frustrating part was the injuries,” said Elton Brand. “That Achilles really changed the trajectory of my career. That whole kinetic chain: once you get the calf, it’s the ankle, the knee, the hips, the back. No one’s really recovered from that Achilles injury and come back at the same level. That was really frustrating because I wanted to give Philly more. We made it to the playoffs. I did okay. I had a few serviceable seasons, but I wasn’t the same guy. I still had the atrophy on my left calf — which was my power leg — from that Achilles. And then, quickly, I had a torn labrum right after that. You know, just the injuries, and that happens.”

I'll be that guy...
Crewz said some of the top brass was interested in bringing Boogie back to NOLA at the right price. Obviously the brass has changed a little bit, but so has his asking price...
should we?
