The one thing I liked was Simmons' comparison of the situation. He said something along the lines of it would be like if Russillo had a really nice car that he did not want to sell. Then Simmons came along and told Russillo he wanted to buy that really nice car for half the price. Then Simmons started telling everyone things like Russillo can't afford that car and it was going to be repossessed soon. Then Simmons would get super mad at Russillo for not selling him the car Russillo never wanted to sell in the first place.

this is strictly a hypothetical, but if you were to ask a male about your wife's relationships in her 20's, there would be quite a different reaction from you if he called her a whore, vs someone that liked to sleep around and have fun.

but is part of the narrative that makes her unfit to own 2 sports franchises. Someone has to say it, because the local media is not going to touch that.

This is surprising from Simmons. He's become such an SJW that I really have a hard time believing he would publicly insult a woman, but I guess she's a billionaire so the SJW in him feels like it's ok to insult her since she is a billionaire regardless of her gender.

Fact is Simmons did not say she was a gold digger. He presented the situation as we all know it, but without some of the rumor on Rita. From what I can tell, Gayle is a good person and doing a good job as owner. But none of us really know what happened in that family. We don’t really honestly know Rita or Gayle or their intentions. All we know is what is reported and released to the public, all of which favors Gayle. I’d like to think Gayle is a good person though, bc we’re stuck with her either way now
