Locker room? Idk I thought They were bros. Wore the dudes name at the all star game and everything.

I think they were "work bros", I don't think they were hanging out in their free time.

I really think Cousins was jealous of the success of the team after he went down.

AD has also been bouncing things of Jrue. They both know this is their franchise now. The Rondo thing was a little overblown to me. You also heard stories of how tight-knit the locker room was AFTER Boogie got hurt. You didn't hear about those stories beforehand. Just saying...

This team played better without Boogie and honestly Rondo on the court was a liability on defense. People may be upset with the off-season but I don’t see how you can overlook the Randle signing. It was a huge success. If you’re Dell, you’ve got to be so happy. You offered Boogie more than he was worth, he turned it down, it blew up in his face so you get to save face.

It's the off court rondo I really want. On court I think he's a double edged blade.

Randle signing is huge, he's an athletic big who plays down low. He actually fits what we wanted from cousins, but demands the ball less. Underrated passer imo

If we can get a wing before the start of the season, I will feel good about going back to the playoffs.

Cousins only hurts because a sign and trade would have benefited the Pelicans immensely.

If I were the Pelicans I would call the Warriors and ask for Livingston in a sign and trade. Not a huge talent but would help out a lot with back court depth.

Rondo leaving is what hurts more.

We'll be back in the playoffs regardless. I'm more concerned about point guard. Rondo was garbage on defense but amazing on offense. He was averaging damn near 12-15 assists a game towards the end. I think with the addition of Randle, having Niko for a full season, and having Evil Jrue will get us to 50 wins barring competent point guard play.

I think the Pelicans can get the 2nd seed in the West.

Pelicans are better now than when the season ended.

Basically lost Rondo but gained Randle and Payton. Houston lost Ariza which is a big loss. He was a winner and we know Harden is not.

I still don’t understand rondo not giving this one more year, and I guess we won’t until he says something. he could always do this money grab next year

I think he had a shot to play with Bron and took it. As simple as that.

What would be their incentive to do that deal?

That would be a valid point had he taken 4-6 mill to go play with Lebron.
He's getting paid 9 million dollars. I am sure that played into it slightly more than playing with Lebron. Cant fault him.

They could get a 2nd rounder and a clear conscience?

Would you rather him give Cousins a max contract, because he gave up 2 #1's for him? The price that you "paid" for Cousins is a sunk cost at this point. You don't make decisions based upon that, or you end up with bullshite like the Asik contract.

It is like you think Demps knew Boggie would get hurt.

Hindsight, brah.

Everyone makes that deal when given the opportunity. Had he not blown out his Achilles, he would be in a pelicans uniform.
