With AD I remember them doing a photo op of the signing at a restaurant. Does anyone remember if reports leaked about AD agreeing before the publicity stunt? Maybe Griff just wants to make a big deal out of it like that.

And just like that, Galloway to Suns.

How many fricking people do the Suns have under contract? 20?

I feel like every time any one of us mentions a player that player signs somewhere else

Per HoopsHype six teams are interested in Batum.

once the decision was made to trade for adams, that took free agents off the table. they cannot use the exceptions as that would put them into the tax.
its that simple.
they traded their chance to use the MLE this season in the holiday/adams swap
I don't see how that's true. We basically got in the salary we put out. We didn't have real cap space period.

Well there is the end to our free agency. Hopefully all goes well.
We can sign a 15th in season with no tax, right?

Nah, we’re 500k below the tax right now.

I thought the rules changed a little in season vs. offseason. Guess I was mistaken.

We could go over the tax to sign a 15th, but we’d have to get rid of some salary by the end of the season in order to get back below the tax line. I don’t think we’re going to put ourselves in that situation though.

Gotcha. So not worth it without injuries.
Posted on 11/23/20 at 6:45 pm to bonethug0180
We took back more salary than we sent out, almost the equivalent of the MLE

So close to $7 mil or so? We still came out better than using that on a mid level player.

N/P but needs attention nonetheless
