Never seen a live band that plays more tight than them.

BTS is currently touring as a three piece band - Doug’s the only guitarist. How can he pull that off?
I’m sure you’re referring to them touring with 2 or even 3 guitarists.
I wish that would happen again. I’d be there!

Because-Dave Clark 5
This is a song my band plays (60’s-70’s). The rest of the guys did this for my wife’s and I first dance at our reception. 1 acoustic guitar and 3 voice harmony. Unfortunately no one got video nor audio of it.

Michael Franti and Spearhead, "See You in the Light".

My dad passed away suddenly several years ago, and it fell on me to wrap up his affairs. He was a rock for not only my sisters and I, but for most of his own brothers and sisters as well as my grandmother, he was their meal ticket as well. There were a LOT of trying times, and a lot of hard decisions that needed to be made, and this song got me through it.

See You in the Light - Michael Franti

Lyrics:

I've been traveling down this river
So many rocks pop up in my sight
I got to make some quick decisions
Should I go left or should I go right?

I pray for guidance and protection
It keeps my boat water tight
And I know if I just keep on believing
Every little thing's all gonna be alright

And when I wake up in the morning
I hope I see you in the light

And when I wake up in the morning
I hope I see you in the light

And loveliness and tenderness
And happiness and openness
And togetherness and loveliness
Yeah, yeah

The vampires gather around me
Angling to take a bite
They wanna drink my blood of courage
And try to take away my fight
But no, no, no, they can't do that
No, for one truth I learned in life
You want to scare away the vampires
You simply guide them into the light

And when I wake up in the morning
I hope I see you in the light
And when I wake up in the morning
I hope I see you in the light, yeah

In the morn, in the morning
In the morn, in the morning
In the morn, in the morning
In the morning

And when my time is done
I did some right, I did some wrong
Call my name to kingdom come
Spread my wings in flight
I hope that when my day is over
My love I see you in the light, yeah

And when I wake up in the morning
I hope I see you in the light

And when I wake up in the morning
I hope, I hope, I hope I see you

In the morn, in the morning
In the morn, in the morning
In the morn, in the morning
In the morn, in the morning
Loveliness and tenderness
And happiness and openness
And togetherness and hopefulness
And happiness, yeah, yeah

Take Me Home Country Road

My maternal grandmother’s (rest her lovely soul) favorite song when it came out. I remember vividly her grabbing me to dance to it when it came on her little radio on her back porch one day.

Anthem by Phil Wickham

Lyrics
So many reasons
Too many to count
To say that I love You
To worship You now
Your love is perfect
Your heart is kind
I'm Yours forever
Forever you're mine
Jesus, the anthem of my heart
Jesus, the anchor of my soul
I'm overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You
You call me beloved
You call me friend
Your grace is unworthy
You welcome me in
Now all that I long for
And all that I need
Is to be in Your presence
Forever I fall at Your feet
Jesus, the anthem of my heart
Jesus, the anchor of my soul
I'm overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You
Jesus, the anthem of my heart
Jesus, the anchor of my soul
I'm overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You
Faithful to the end
God You are always good
Where do I begin
There's so many reasons to love You
Your promise never breaks
Your beauty never fades
What else can I say
There's so many reasons to love You
Faithful to the end
God You are always good
Where do I begin
There's so many reasons to love You
Your promise never breaks
Your beauty never fades
What else can I say
There's so many reasons to love You
Ooh, there's so many reasons to love You
Ooh ooh
Jesus, the anthem of my heart
Jesus, the anchor of my soul
I'm overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You
Jesus, the anthem of my heart
Jesus, the anchor of my soul
I'm overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You
I'm overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You
I'm overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You

Willie Nelson - Till I gain control again

Great song I prefer the original Emmylou Harris - til I gain control again

She's also my 'free' card with my wife.

and i love the old timey piano of this mortal coil version.

And another great song for a long road trip.. David Sylvian - Let the Happiness In

quote:

I'm waiting on the empty docks
Watching the ships come in
I'm waiting for the agony to stop
Oh, let the happiness in

I'm watching as the gulls all settle down
Upon the empty vessels
The faded whites of their wedding gowns
The songs of hopeless selflessness

The cold December Sun
A cold that blisters
The hands of a working man
Wasted, ooh
