it’s frustrating. i’m not looking for everyone’s opinion or approval but it doesn’t appear FB allows this to be done privately. When i make the change, FB sends a post announcing this and everyone feels obligated to make a comment or wants to chime in about your photo selection!
sorry, i guess i’ve got nothing else to gripe about this morning

You think Guided by Voices is well known enough to be described by their initials? They are not.

oh, how about you? are you a fan of any of their music?
Crawlspace of the Pantheon is a great album!
Pollard has some great melodies and and the vocals are great too.
Plus some great guitar work by Doug Gillard.
it’s been such a fun enjoyable album to listen to. i’ve been playing it constantly
check it out ! LINK

I used to like Tatum, but lately he seems to be going the way of seeking clicks.

yeah i noticed that too. i watched Part 3 and it ends with a cliffhanger, and im like “why? just tell me now. “

and then he sells some brand of whiskey called “Verdict “ on his channel.
i’ve seen other conservative youtubers doing the same thing, or selling coffee.

i wonder how many people buy his liquor.

Love you silly MF’ers. There are many ways that people, companies or countries end up paying for things. Not all is by direct debit, cash or check. That you can’t understand that is a you problem

thank you!!
what were people thinking Trump meant when he made that comment????
there’s plenty of ways we could get them to pay. raise tariffs, charge fees to enter the country legally, etc.

i see that it was written by actor Mark Harmon, from the NCIS show. that’s interesting.

No, I read Humberto’s other books and they were entertaining

are you referring to his biography of Fidel Castro?
i’m currently reading this book; i am no fan of Che by any means. I think that the way the mass media portrays Guevara is mythical and hagiographical.
But i am having a hard time confirming some of the claims Fontova makes.
He claims Che NEVER received a doctoral degree and was not a doctor; he claims that over 3,000 of Castro’s soldiers died during the Bay of Pigs. However , It seems Guevara’s medical degree is on display at some museum somewhere and I can’t find any corroboration of the casualties estimate of Castro’s soldiers.
A lot of Fontova’s sources are anti-communist Cubans from that era that are still living, mostly here in the U.S.
The author characterizes Che as a bumbling buffoon throughout the book.
i’m just wondering how factual this biography is.
Has anyone else read this book?

Christopher Hitchens too, which surprised me. He’s on record speaking fondly of Guevara.

to be fair, it was a very nuanced opinion

and Angelina Jolie has a Che tattoo.
so does Mike Tyson. Madonna donned her Che costume. Johnny Depp had the t shirt…. useful idiots, all of them.

Che Guevera

how the hell did Time magazine immortalize this guy, putting him on par with the likes of Mother Theresa and name him one of the most important figures of the 20th century when he literally claimed if the Soviets had left nuclear missiles in Cuba he would have attacked the U.S., specifically mentioning New York City as a primary target?

The Road to Wigan Pier by George Orwell
what if i told you i am very curious about such things and i wonder what creators were thinking when they put this together and i wonder what the motive is, and I wonder who would find that interesting and blah blah blah?
i watched it to find out about it. jesus christ. i watched it to observe it and try to understand what the vibe of it all is.

Spinal Tap- Big Bottoms

Posted by selfgen on 6/26/26 at 5:04 pm
i saw the Spinal Tap movie when i was a teenager, at Joy Cinema 6 in Metairie , and that song “Big Bottoms” cracked me up so much. I just rewatched that clip recently and i only just now recognized that all three of the musicians up front are playing bass guitars! LOL!
i find it hard to believe over 840K people viewed this podcast for Mexico vs South Africa. it’s showing up on my feed -for no reason whatsoever other than YT trying to promote this heap of garbage. Trevor is dull and unfunny as usual and there’s no soccer expertise to speak of by anyone on these show. just 4 guys babbling and shite talking.
there’s no way over 750K sat through this. i watched it for 10 minutes only so i could comment on it.
did anyone watch it and actually enjoy it and found it interesting?

Read about the social policies post WW2 in the United States and who was promoting all of this within our media.

i recently read Whittaker Chambers autobiography. they weren’t just in the media. Our government was infiltrated with them, all pushing socialism while working for the department of labor, department of agriculture, etc.
it was astounding how many there were, they were communists, and many of them Jewish.
Libs are going crazy about it; that it was all about himself, and well, you know TDS in general.
i enjoyed it. for the first 25 minutes all he did was praise the cadets.
it is true that he spent another 25 minutes talking about his presidency, current events, the border, Iran.
he probably should have cut out some of that.
but i didn’t hear anything that would make me scream and pull my green hair out.

Don Quixote would be my choice.
