Mine is let it be by the Beatles. I’ve always loved that song and crank it when life doesn’t go the way I planned

Hallelujah (cover of Leonard Cohen) by Jeff Buckley

Very moving considering his life and death, and that in the midst of his sorrow, he still believed in hope. It’s hauntingly glorious.

this one always top of the list for me even though I doubt anyone on this board has ever heard of this band. Brings me back to my childhood every time.

Lynn Canfield TYFYS

Moon Seven Times - On a Limb

The second one brought me to tears the first time I found it on YouTube after not having heard it for decades. My aunt was a famous piano player from Mexico City back in the 50s before she married my uncle and moved to Gretna.

This is the song she always played for us growing up and it still puts chills down my back to this day when I hear it.

Granada

I miss my aunt. She was an amazing person.

ETA I'm taking a risk and posting her pic on here because she deserves it.

Mexico City

Her and my uncle

Steam Engine by My Morning Jacket. This is a beautiful spiritual journey about our souls, our connection to Jesus and our importance to ourselves and the world around us.

I met him 11 years ago after his show at the Alabama Theater. We chatted for 20 minutes on his belief system and worldview. Jim James is a cool dude.

Never seen a live band that plays more tight than them.

IMO, one of the greatest songs of all time. Actually about Paul McCartney's mother who died when he was 14. Great lyrics and vocals and nice lead guitar by Harrison.

Wow, I was just thinking of Let It Be and put it on.

...best song Paul ever wrote.

Absolutely beautiful.

Depends on what you consider meaningful

This song has meaning to me because it brings back found memories from my childhood. If you are close to my age you will understand. Watching Charlie Brown holiday specials growing up in late 70s early 80s.

Plus, it is just a wonderfull idea/theme for a song.

C-Brown by Widespread Panic

I like the recently released Miss Kitty's studio version

WSP - C Brown from Miss Kitty's studio released vinyl pressing

WSP - C Brown original studio Version

My favorite live version from the best quality can be heard on Spotify. The temporary is faster than most of their live performances.

WSP- C Brown live 10/28/98 City Auditorium, Colorado Springs

C. Brown wakes from bed
He brushes his teeth and he combs his head for school
Out the door and down the street
Down to the corner, a bus and some friends that he's supposed to meet
But there, not to his surprise
His friends have gone and they've told C. a lie
But you can walk on with me
You don't even need to say a word
You don't have to worry about the others
Now you see him and he runs up fast
Kicks at the air his friends watch him fall and then laugh
Charlie really likes his friends
But in his heart he knows that sometimes a dog is as good as any man
We're all trying to do as we should
That doesn't always rhyme with doing just what feels good
But you can sit in the grass, if it feels good
You don't even need to think a word
You don't have to worry, don't worry
Charlie there is drawing a gun
Right there in the square he's sketched Lucy on the run
Aims his eye, cocks his head
In a cloud of dust, dear old Lucy's gone
Charlie's only trying the golden rule
Draw unto others as they have been drawn to you
And you can walk on home with me
You don't even need to think a word
You don't have to worry

I like that one too. Reminds me of an old neighbor I had in my early 20s. Personally, I like Steve Earle's version best.
