KISS 1977-Centroplex...I was 12 years old. Saw Alice Cooper three months later. 40 years later and I've seen well over 1000 concerts.

I grew up in Los Angeles in the late 60's early 70's.
My first concert was Cream/Deep Purple.
My 2nd concert was Creedence Clearwatter, Iron Butterfly and Albert King.
My 3rd concert was CSN/ Joni Mitchell.
The kicker...... the most expensive ticket was $10.00

Motley Crue - Girls, Girls, Girls Tour
Opening act: Guns and Roses when nobody knew who they were. Saw them about a month before Appetite for Destruction dropped.

J Giels Band
Tulane Stadium 1975. Skynyrd no-showed and a riot broke out with cops beating the ever livin snot out of people. Eye opener as a 15 year old for me...........I was hooked.

That was my Dad’s first concert as well! He was 15 too. He told me about how people were chucking beer bottles down on them and they had to run out.

Saw this show in Huntsville. Was hilarious that White Lion damn near got booed off stage. What a shitty opening act for AC/DC.

ETA: I'm a moron. First concert was Kravitz/Smash Mouth/Buckcherry at UNO. Was a kid and the madre was not overly enthused about Buckcherry opening.
#1 - Foo Fighters House of Blues 2007. Hearing Best of You after Katrina was surreal. You could feel the raw emotion in that crowd. People were tearing up. The opening song "Let It Die" was INCREDIBLE. The CD had just been released, so I hadn't heard it yet. It was just the perfect song to go from "alright I'm digging it" to "frick yeah we rockin". I've also never heard a shriek like Grohl hitting the stage. Ladies and dudes alike just lost their collective shite seeing him that close. We were 2nd/3rd cattle row from the stage. Even caught a pick at the end of the night from Dave.
Linkin Park post Meteora release was an amazing show at UNO Lakefront 2003. Pretty much got to hear HT and Meteora in their entireties.
Nickelback cancelled a show once. Wouldn't be notable to me except Three Days Grace was opening for them. I wasn't going to the arena for the show, but the fallout was fortunate. House of Blues had an opening conveniently. $20 tickets flat to see them and this was right after One-X came out. The opening act was Three Days Grace playing an acoustic set. The closing act was Three Days Grace playing an electric set. I always enjoy giving openers a try, but getting to just show up and listen to your band that night was freaking awesome.
Lostprophets (frick that pedo) had one of the best crowds I'd ever been in. Not too dense. Everyone there had energy for days though, and it was an incredible experience. (2005)
One of the weirdest experiences I'd ever been apart of was Bush at Varsity a few years back. It was HOT AS BALLS in there. People here said Rosdale requested that. It was so hot you could see the crowd fatiguing from the experience. Than they played "Machinehead" and Rosdale literally carried the spirits of the crowd to an exuberant 2nd half of the show. He was literally raining sweat from his elbows.

Vanilla Fudge at the Cotillion in Wichita. Bill Halley and the Comments opened. It was '68, I believe.
Earlier that year a bunch of my friends went to see the Monkees. Not interested. They came back wide-eyed. They were talking about the opening act... somebody called the Jimi Hendrix Experience.
