Already seeing places not available in the the 4-8 pm slot.
Preferably shrimp, crabmeat, gumbo and oysters.
Nothing fancy.
Doesn't matter what NOLA neighborhood.
Then perhaps a local place for some music (yes it's Christmas Eve), but perhaps some of you hipsters know of something special.

My old, old Wahl was great.
Once a week for 20 years that provided me a very close trim( just north of a 5 o’clock shadow.)
My new Wahl won’t cut close enough.
Anything out there for a close trim that I can get at a drug/ discount store?

We agree. Portland is a great food town. We could easily spend a week there, but we are curious about the rest of the state....especially the coast.
Any of the coastal islands worth visiting? We've spent the night on Islesboro and had a blast.
Is north of Bar Harbor worth exploring?

Probably fly into and out of Portland. Just me and Mrs.Subdude.
Been to Portland many times, but only up to Bar Harbor once.
Any must do's? Hidden Gems? We are wide open at this point.
