Meh. I like Lies. I also though they should have released the best of Use Your Illusion as a single album - had they done that, it would be regarded better.

Appetite was just a tough act to follow - like Nevermind would be in the early 1990s.

Stadium was a little watered down w/ the number of songs
a lot of songs, but this album has some underrated songs, wet sand, she's only 18, make you feel better, desecration smile, plus their radio hits.

Oh I love alot of the underated songs on Stadium. I think just like the Illusons one album of all the bangers would have been much better.

Pick any consecutive 3 albums that The Kinks released from 1966 to 1970:

Face to Face
Something Else by The Kinks
The Kinks are the Village Green Preservation Society
Arthur (or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire)
Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround

Had to go through and just limit to my own collection... and some of these like Maiden, Rush, Zep go on 5+ record runs. (There are some others or subsets/extra stretches like Yes or 70s vs 80s King Crimson where I'm just regrettably missing one of the sequence.)

Agalloch - Pale Folkore, The Mantle, Ashes Against the Grain
Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master of Reality
Enslaved - Axioma Ethica Odini. RIITIIR, In Times
Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced, Axis: Bold As Love, Electric Ladyland
Iron Maiden - Killers, The Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, Powerslave
King Crimson - Discipline, Beat, Three of a Perfect Pair
Led Zeppelin - I, II, III, IV, Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti
Opeth - Still Life, Blackwater Park, Deliverance
Orphaned Land - Mabool, The Never Ending Way of ORwarriOR, All Is One
Rush - 2112, A Farewell To Kings, Hemispheres, Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures
Joe Satriani - Surfin' With the Alien, Flying In a Blue Dream, The Extremist
Frank Zappa - Hot Rats, Burnt Weeny Sandwich, Weasels Ripped My Flesh

Good list. Those are great albums but I just cannot get past the downward spiral that happened DURING Justice, in my opinion.

Lars oh Lars. Turning down Newstead's bass on Justice.
Hetfield changing his vocal style

Commercial success killed that band.

Nothing Else Matters???? Really??

It's not the best 3 of Metallica.
Kill Em all, Ride the Lightning, Master.

I preferred Undertow to 10,000 Days. also Salival came out between Aenima & Lateralus if we're being subjectable

Great underrated album. The riffs on those songs, in fact, every single song, are killer.
