I'd say Atlanta, Houston and probably Louisiana are the only ones left

It's because Trump smashed USAID. The rappers were getting paid by USAID

Example

Lizzo sold 7 million records a few years ago.. without USAID, she hasn't even broke selling 3,000 with her new album

Since Trump smashed USAID, measles cases have exploded. Following a massive increase to over 2,200 cases in 2025, the US is on track to far exceed those numbers in 2026.
My statement about the measles is no different than saying there are no rap songs in the top 40 due to the lack of USAID funding. Both are ridiculous correlations.
