Wendell Tilley
He was a year behind me at BRHS. I still have the Func Haus "Absolutely Live" CD and play it occasionally. Monster group, Tilley/Pero/Higgins are all REALLY talented. Tilley was starting to get comparisons to Eric Johnson.

Adam Jones is rarely mentioned when people talk about the talent in Tool much less general guitar discussions. Might be one of the most criminally underrated guitarist.

Albert Collins, the "master of the telecaster."
He was the cousin of famous blues guitarist Lightning Hopkins and was one of the main figures in Texas blues during the 50's and 60's. SRV said Collins was a major influence. Robert Cray said Collins is who got him into blues.
Despite being an ace guitarist, Collins spent a lot of his adult life working construction because he couldn't make ends meet. So he would come off the construction site then do a concert. A unique story.
Rolling Stone ranked Collins 56th out of the 100 top guitarists of all time.

In the last 10 years I would say easily Laur Joamets. What he did on Sturgills Metamodern, his solo work and now with Drivin' N' Cryin is incredible.
