Hell, Alex Lifeson because he was overshadowed by the prodigies in his band.
And, I would be remiss if I didn't mention Phil Collen (Girl, Def Leppard, Cybernauts) - a combination of the similarity of his name to Phil Collins and folks not taking Def Leppard's music seriously, but he could/can absolutely play anything you want on a six-string guitar. Any kind of way. Fast, slow, technical, warm - as good a guitar player as there is.
