Is that even controversial at this point?

Something controversial would be saying Ringo > George > Paul > John

The best part of any Beatles song is when it ends.

The Foo Fighters is the most generic sounding band I've ever heard. They are boring.

Chris Stapleton is overrated. A seventies cowboy hat, and a long beard does not make one an outlaw. He's just another big box Nashville songwriter.

Stevie Nicks is the 3rd best vocalist of the classic F/M lineup.

The best iteration of Fleetwood Mac is the version lead by Bob Welch's vocals and guitar.

Elton John's version of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds is better than the Beatles version.

LOL…the Beach Boys were good but not in the same league in any way, shape or form as The Beatles. SMH

I've tried giving Pet Sounds a completely credulous, let-me-really-absorb-this-masterpiece listen like 3 times in the past year. Sorry, it's just not there.

If Motorhead had a better vocalist they would have been bigger. Lemmy's voice was the weak link.

SRVs version of Little Wing is better than Jimi's because he doesn't ruin it with the childish lyrics.

Nirvana's Unplugged in New York is one of the worst of the series, even the extra musicians didn't help. Cobain simply could not sing. Or play.

The Beatles get too much of a pass for the grade school lyrics in some of their songs.

Horribly wrong. B Boys aren’t nearly in the same class.

And probably it’s Paperback Writer
Or I am the Walrus (technical brilliance in the studio),

Two words, Baba O'Riley. Three more words, Herbie Hancock-Chameleon.

Anyone who says (insert band or performer name here) never put out a bad song is full of shite. Every band that has ever recorded has put out bad songs no matter how good of a band they are.

Early 70's Elton John Band was the best on the planet at that time
Dee Murray, Nigel Olsson and Davey Johnstone

I went to downvote your original post but it wouldn't let me because I had already downvoted it.

Just for the record, I downvoted your post twice.

So you know.

Facts. Listenable for sure. And I went to a concert once (free to me) and it was awesome because of Grohl's enthusiasm. But just uninspired generic rock outside of one or two songs.

Yup. Again, not bad. But he's pop country’s guy to be able to say "hey look at us, we don't just listen to bro country"

Any male who likes Isbell or Swift should check into a low-T clinic.
