I don’t get Springsteen but I think with Springsteen the “greatness” comes from the legendary live performances. If you’ve never seen him live, or didn’t see him live late 70’s-mid 80’s you probably don’t get it.
His live shows were legendary
Same with the Grateful Dead,,,if you weren't there you won't get it....forget this tepid, lukewarm Dead & Co. shite

I've tried so hard on countless occasions to get into Iron Maiden and Judas Priest and I just can't.

Nirvana. Pearl Jam. Grunge in general. I like a few songs but never got into the genre.

E Street Band is very tight. They are not savant musicians....except maybe for Max Weinberg. But they work well together and stayed together for the better part of 40 years until Clarence Clemons died ad Bittan got too old. As a group , very good, independently maybe average
Also, Springsteen is a very good songwriter.....singer, not so much

Rush. I was listening to Yes at the time, and they were by far the more appealing prog rock band for me. I only got 2 ears to listen, so Rush never made the cut. They are great..just not for me.

I think i've listened to so much stuff that I can't tell anymore. The ones i'm thinking about, I actually listened to at one point so maybe i'm just tired of hearing them....
I cant take michael jackson at all..

That’s a great one. I know I can’t say that in public around a bunch of guys, but I’ve never gotten them. I thought the lead singer was a girl for the longest time to be honest.
