Southern river music. Rosanne nailed this album - 2014 release won 3 Grammy's.

Nice choice
Ive actually been listening to them recently. Kinda forgot about them for a while
They sounded so good together. Their vocals and harmonies were perfection.
I was sad to see them break up
Poison and Wine
Beautiful and Heartbreaking song

The Civil Wars won four Grammy Awards prior to their 2014 breakup.

Was coming to post Bingham’s Mescalito but BLIZZAKE7 beat me to it and going by upvotes-downvotes it appears to be the thread winner.

If we could take this back to '96, it'd be Being There.

Ryan Adams & The Cardinals release of Cold Roses and Jacksonville City Nights in 2005 has to be up there.

MMJ gets a nod for At Dawn > It Still Moves.

Solid, but YHF, Sky Blue Sky and Wilco (the Album) are stronger efforts and fit the criteria.

I won't argue YHF, but the other two are in no way better albums than Being There.

Sky Blue Sky is great. I love that album. Wilco the album, I could take or leave several of the songs.

Obviously, we all have our opinions, but just not sure how anyone that's a Wilco fan things those two albums are better than Being There. It's an all timer, imo.

They didn't release a country/American album after 2000.

Second this.

Just love the sound of the record. Listened to Misunderstood at the music store and bought it without even knowing who Wilco was.
