Python, Monty. The Life of Brian.

Python, Monty and Grail, the Holy.

Animal House.

And, I just think that The Money Pit is f...ing laugh inducing, non-stop.

Singing “smoking, snorting, shooting, sucking, to those high school kids made me laugh hard. I watch Tommy Boy for the first time with my unit in our on ship Bay Area. Everybody in our platoon laughed out loud at some point. That was a funny movie man.

That’s Black Sheep, which I think is the funnier of the two. Not a popular opinion though.

An excellent documentary. The guy who wrote and directed it went to my high school. His dad was actually the county sheriff. Later he wrote and directed A Christmas Story. (The Guy. Not the Dad.)

Dumb and Dumber is still the #1 funniest movie I’ve seen in my life. I don’t know why but pretty much every minute of that movie cracks me up.

I used to start a Top Comedies thread every few years here, and this was my list:

Dumb and Dumber
40 Year Old Virgin
The Jerk
Blazing Saddles
Spaceballs
Monty Python/Holy Grail
Billy Madison

Most listed already are on the list but I'll add Monty python series, and John candy movies. Also 3 Fugitives, Armed and Dangerous, and 3 Amigos.

In the theater:

South Park - Bigger, Longer, and Uncut was the most I ever laughed.

Caddyshack and Ghostbusters tie for #2.

GOAT - Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Caddyshack was the one film that had me literally falling out of my chair laughing (in the theater).

I’ll say the funniest sequence is when Jim Carey snaps in Me Myself and Irene and starts sucking on that lady’s titty.

How about the split lines scene?

The funniest movie I ever saw in a theater was There's Something About Mary. There was a guy in the theater that was laughing so hard that he fell out of his wheelchair during the Frank and Beans scene. I thought he would be upset when I was helping him get up but he didn't care. He said that was the hardest he had laughed in years.
