Sexual? Violent?..
..for just overall movie experience, recently the Dune film with the mushrooms..in the past, one that stands out, I snuck into Bram Stokers Dracula opening night as a very young kid and was blown away.

As far as pleasurable watching experience, it was definitely the original Top Gun. I can’t remember which theater I want to see it at, but it had very large screen and an incredible surroundsound system. It really felt like you were actually in one of those F-14s.
As far as just having fun with a bunch of friends, we went and saw Rodney Dangerfield in Easy Money at that theater right by Murphy’s after getting drunk at Murphy’s. There were like 10 of us all sitting there, talking back-and-forth to Rodney on the big screen. I don’t recall ever laughing so hard during a movie.

We went and saw this opening day at an IMAX, but the best part was at midnight it started with the extended version the Fellowship of the Ring, next the extended version of the Two Towers, and then The Return of the King. With intermissions between the movies we were there until around noon. Long but worth it.

The ring
I’d love to experience that dread again
That first jump scare closet scene was perfection

Toss up between Jurassic Park and Saving Private Ryan.
The T Rex scene vs Omaha Beach. Hard to choose.

I remember sneaking in to see that movie. The music to this day gives me chills.
The Matrix overall was the most memorable for me. I had no idea what it was about, back then we would just pick movies off the marquee. I was blown away. For the next couple of months we would always catch the end on our way out of the theater.
The beginning and end of The Dark Knight were also pretty memorable. The movie is all over the place but those first and last few minutes are fantastic.

Heat
Just sat there reflecting for a while as the credits rolled, listening to the Moby tune it ended on. Saw it again a week later.

Easily Top Gun: Maverick. Watched it four times in theaters in three different formats. Had the same emotional and tense reactions each time. Only other movies I watched that many times in theaters were End Game and Dark Knight.

I wish I would've seen T2 in theaters, just didn't go back then.

Seeing Murder in the First with Christian slater in prison, and some guy stabs another guy in the neck with the back end of a spoon. I immediately felt hit sweats and ran to the lobby, feeling I was going to throw up.

I was 7 in 1977. Take a wild guess.

Miracle, the crowd all stood and cheered.

I watched this with chills and thought... Movies were invented so we could have this moment.

Young me (I was 8 or 9) seeing Star Wars in the theater the first time.
Incredible, totally unprepared for it by all the previous sci fi stuff I'd seen.

I was a child. The original House on Haunted Hill scared the shite out of me.

First that come to mind:
The Deer Hunter and Black Hawk Down.
Because both were so good but so disturbing.

My very first in-theater experience, Herbie the Love Bug. It was amazing what that car could do. That was back when Disney was still magical for a 7 yr old boy.
