Mars Attacks.

Many years later, there are people that like it, but trust me, all but the dumbest audiences of the time thought that movie was garbage.

Contact. Jeez. I agree with Mr Garrisons assessment of that movie.

3 hours of technobable and nothing happening

It is a movie that is both widely loved and widely hated.

The length of the disrupted recording was however key for the viewer to understand that contact was made. The proof was not presented to the public but the recording showed an inexplicable event.

The story amounts to something of a metaphor for what Sagan felt about philosophy, man, God, and the future beyond the reach of our lifespans. The central character is a rationalist but she loves and appreciates her religious partner.

Saw it at age 15 when it came out. Horrendously bad even by mid-70s standards.

On the plus side, the redneck chick I met up with at the theater gave me my first hickey.

It's definitely disappointing, but that's your "worst"? TLJ is at least a well made film. Some of the choices they made with the characters is the big issue.

No..It wasn't a well made film. That film totally destroyed the Stars Wars mythology. I don't give credit for a film that had good visuals if the story sucks...like the Last Jedi.

As I said, Jaws 4 The Revenge was the next closet film that I would call "worst" I've sat down in a theater and watch.

Are you kidding? That's one of the great dark comedies with a huge cast of A-Listers.

Not sure the movie, but it had something to do with Motorcycle racing.

It was so horrible, even making out and grabbing some puss puss while it played wasn't enough to give it a passing grade.

It's Battlefield Earth and it isn't even close. I have made no secret of my intense loathing of The Last Jedi, but the awfulness of that movie is like a light bulb next to the Sun of Battlefield Earth's all-encompassing shittiness.
