Signs is usually my knee jerk go to here

Sunshine had a meh final third but it just wasn't amazing like the rest of the movie and devolved it into midgrade slasher shite

I'm sure plenty will disagree, but actual aliens felt like a cop out.

Plus the fact that the aliens were vulnerable to water, which is pretty much everywhere in some form or another.

Don't know if you consider War of the Worlds as a good movie but that ending shite the bed.

What a fricking horrible answer.

War of the Worlds and Signs were the first two to come to mind for me.

The Circle and I actually enjoyed Fallen Kingdom until the whole “I am a clone too” part.

I was absolutely loving Shadow of the Vampire right up until the ending. So many different ways they could have gone with it and it's like they just couldn't think of anything.

Killing the main character off camera
Was it really necessary to show him get shot by Mexicans? I thought that finding out he died at the same time that his wife did sent a much more powerful message.
