Can't think of one for all time, but over the last few years for me it's Arrival

I agree. Heath Ledgers performance was great and worth watching for some of his scenes but over all I just thought it was allright.
I didn't dislike it, but it is ranked #4 all time on IMDB; just behind The Godfather II.

The Apartment - Not funny, weak meet-cute, no chemistry between leads, Shirley Maclaine doesn't even fall in love with him at the end
There's wrong and then there's WRONG.
WRONG.

Vertigo
Yeah, my pick as well. I rented it to watch when my parents were here(it's from their time). Turns out they never thought much of it and I was baffled too. Historically, the scenes of San Francisco are great. Beyond that I didn't think the movie was very good.
Big Lebowski - I'm mostly on board with that. I like it OK but it's middle of the pack Coen brothers for me.
Furry Road, yeah, I just don't get a movie of stunts being a great movie. And I really don't care that they weren't CGI. So what?
Tombstone - popcorn fluff.
Most Best Picture winners recently weren't.
Annie Hall - good grief.
Birdman - nobody cares about this one anymore.

I haven't seen it.
heard some good, a few so so comments
one relative walked out on it...but admitted they were tired to begin with..
they way the media covers it, it's like the greatest of all time...
it's so dang political...
If they were smart, they would launch another film called the White Panther an older looking super hero with hair that looks like Trumps'...LOL
The Black Panther is a decent Marvel super hero movie. Nothing more nothing less. I thought it was probably better than Civil War....but I enjoyed AoU, GotG vol 1, and Thor:Ragnorok more than Black Panther.

Reservoir Dogs, frick that movie.
Pretty much any movie Tarantino has done. I did like Django Unchained, though.
All his movies insist on themselves.

Anything Wes Anderson, with the possible exception of The Life Aquatic. His stuff is just to weird for me, but I know people love his movies

Most (not all) Wes Anderson movies. I don't get the love for these. Yes, they're unique and have that distinct look/feel to them but overall I just cant get on board with all the praise

Whichever Terrence Malick movie is considered his best, since Badlands.

The Thin Red Line?
That's basically one of his few (very few) good movies.

For 2017 perhaps the answer was The Shape of Water
Probably just to be viewed as a make up call for Pans Labyrinth.

Pulp Fiction
Never been much of a fan of Tarantino movies to begin with, though I do like Reservoir Dogs.
