Dracula 2000 (just because it had an interesting twist)
Movie was just okay, but the connecting of Judas to the undead was interesting. I’ve always wanted someone else to pick that up and run with it.

One of my favorites. I'm also a big fan of the original Fright Night and The Hunger.

"Vampire Hunter D" is an amazing japanese animation from the 80s.
If you like the animation of "Akira", and feel, you'd enjoy that.

I'm throwing one out there that, while it wasn't exactly one of my favorites (those are already mentioned), is a kind of psuedo noir film starring Christopher Walken called The Addicted. It's weird, I'll give it that. But you probably do have to suspend reason to buy into it.

Vampire movies aren't my favorite, but (kind of like zombies) they present a good canvas for some creativity, like Near Dark (vampire western) and What We Do in the Shadows (absurdist vampire comedy), for example. I think the best vampire movies are the ones that are more personal and related to the effects of being a vampire, more than vampires being the bad guy.
