Applebee’s 2 for $20 commercial.
Will have Toby Keith’s ‘How Do You Like Me Now?’ playing in my head all day.

For the Baton Rouge area folks - the Geaux Roofs commercial.

As someone who watches the ESPN app quite a bit......

I hate that hipster frick on the Verizon commercials. Very punchable.
Those insurance commercials where someone is talking to their alter selves on the phone at the insurance company.
The guy on the mesothelioma commercial sounds like he would be a riot at a party.
William Devane hanging around his ranch house telling me to buy gold before the collapse of western civilization happens.
Steve’s Bail Bonds

Any commercial where the kids are Uber mature and smart and the adults are idiots.
If you’re so fricking smart go get a 6 figure job and I’ll stay home and play with legos you punk.

Wow, I just saw the dog walking commercial. That is some terrible shite.

I'm glad I saw this thread. Mine is the insurance commercial (Geico maybe?) with Carlton and he is giving out the parallel parking award or some shite like that. And not only does a woman win it, but three out of the four nominees are women. I have met maybe one or two women in my lifetime that can parallel park DECENTLY, let alone win awards for that shite.
It's such a minuscule thing, but that commercial makes me so mad.

Eveyone who sings the Nationwide jingle is dead to me. Those commercials are for shitty car insurance and they have the demeanor and arrogance of someone who is advertising a cure for cancer or something.
oh yeah. The black dude and the curly blonde girl. Like you're singing about insurance and they act like it's opening night on broadway. Also the lyrics are elemtary at best:
One day your little guy’s behind the wheel.
It’s okay, your mom side will find a way to deal.
You built this business up from the ground.
Soon your retired side will pass it on down.
Every day brings something new, so much to look forward to,Nationwide is on your side.

Is that Charlie Steiner’s son?

Have we talked about that drug with the ingredient originally found in jellyfish? Am I supposed to be impressed by that? That seem to really stress that so it must be a major selling point.

Any big Pharma commercial.
It's like a Terrance Malik film for the first half - to the Wonder...dancing couple in the lillies or on the beach hugging and laughing about whatever and then the voice-over warnings come on:
While X drug may solve your problem of getting Charlie Horses in the morning there are known side-effects, including:
Sore throat
Headaches
Inability to feel your fingers
Chest Paints
Inability to feel your toes
Moderate to Uncontrollable Diarrhea
Inability to see
Bleeding from the rectum
Inability to hear
Cancer
AIDS
Occasional Coma
And often Death.
Please consult your doctor if you are experiencing any of these symptoms.
Y'all seen this?

Amazon Echo Spot commercial where the grandma's family leaves to go back home
Grandma gets a package with the amazon echo spot and a note that tells her to say "Alexa call home"
So she says it, and boom, just like that the entire family was on screen ready to talk to grandma. Like they were just standing there waiting the whole time for her to say that and be on camera
ETA: LINK

The damn Samsung Galaxy Upgrade from iPhone drives me fricking nuts. I hated my Galaxy when I had it. It can't even hold iPhone's Jockstrap

I actually don't mind that commercial and think it's fairly clever. What I DON'T and will never in my life understand about it is how a full team of ad execs could go through script writing/casting/etc and decide that THIS is the guy they want for the spot
Posted on 6/19/18 at 1:28 pm to WG_Dawg
His hair is cut like the new iPhone screen. It's a crack on Apple.

sort of similar but the credit karma commercials where the person hits like 2 buttons on their phone and boom their credit score is instantly revealed.

Pretty much every commercial now where they show every kid as a worthless little beta runt who can’t change a tire.
Posted on 6/19/18 at 1:37 pm to DestrehanTiger
well I'll be damned, I never would have made that connection.
