The NCAA one where the "student-athletes" basically call me a racist/islamaphobe/homophobe, etc: "Label me, you know you want to........"

And the one where the boy can't freaking change a tire.

No lie, a couple of weeks ago I saw that one run back-to-back with a "Black People Meet" ad.

"Label me,you know you want to, as someone who cannot go on Black People Meet"

and I have said it before but I still cannot stand the original "great for guys.........who don't like to COOK!" from the diet program ad

Ever look at magazines in a doctor's office. Most of them now have ads for pharmaceuticals only. Drug companies must pay for them to be distributed. Wonder if the reps drop them off, or if they're mailed out.

The Wounded Warrior commercials.

I have nothing at all against wounded vets and think it’s a noble cause but the truth is, our shitty arse government should be giving these brave individuals all the care they could possibly need. After all, it was the shitty government that sent them into (mostly) useless wars that got them injured.

It’s really pathetic how the government treats our former military.

Any big Pharma commercial.

It's like a Terrance Malik film for the first half - to the Wonder...dancing couple in the lillies or on the beach hugging and laughing about whatever and then the voice-over warnings come on:

While X drug may solve your problem of getting Charlie Horses in the morning there are known side-effects, including:

Sore throat
Headaches
Inability to feel your fingers
Chest Paints
Inability to feel your toes
Moderate to Uncontrollable Diarrhea
Inability to see
Bleeding from the rectum
Inability to hear
Cancer
AIDS
Occasional Coma

And often Death.

Please consult your doctor if you are experiencing any of these symptoms.

Milky Way and Twix commercials are pure garbage. It’s like they let their Marketing interns design ads they were too inexperienced to realize are dumb and unfunny but the companies decided to throw money at it anyway. They’re not clever, they’re not funny. They’d honestly do a better job if they just ran an ad that says “hey this exists and it has caramel inside chocolate and it costs slightly less than a dollar at the grocery store counter and it doesn’t have nuts like a snickers if you aren’t in the mood for peanuts”

Those Christian insurance share commercials on XM - the guy is trying some earnest voice, but just comes off whiny, especially when he says - it.just.makes.so.much.sense. Bugs the crap out of me for some reason, but the worst is still those 1877 Kars for Kids jingle. Hands down the worst ever.

And I am really tired of every founder of an internet company explaining what led them to make their revolutionary product and then how great it is. There are socks, underwear, sheets, tampons, toothbrushes, mattresses, dog food, pajamas, pillows, razors, flowers. Hi, I'm blah blah the founder of blah blah...

A few that bother me:

I don't know why, but I hate that fricking eggo waffle commercial where the kid says I don't see your name on it and then the girl points to her name on the waffle and says "bah-bam".

Eveyone who sings the Nationwide jingle is dead to me. Those commercials are for shitty car insurance and they have the demeanor and arrogance of someone who is advertising a cure for cancer or something.

Also pretty much every single mobile game commercial on YouTube. BUILD YOUR EMPIRE. DEFEND YOUR CITY. CONQUOR THE WORLD. FORGE OF EMPIRES.

Lastly, I was going to say that discover card cash back match commercial where the two Asians are talking to the each other on the phone and yell cash back match to the public, but I want to frick the hipster Asian cardholder, so.... I'll give it a pass.

Thank you. The fricking Ramsey's family diamond commercials switching constantly between children make me want to tear the hair out of my scalp.

It's actually interesting if you take the time to study the psychology behind commercials.

Things like why all fast-food uses red orange and yellow, why all side effects are spoken in a different softer tone broken from the rest of the commercial with calming music, why the actual drug of the commercial isn't said until the middle, etc....

Clinical Psychologists and the Ad agencies have been working for years to perfectly brainwash people with advertising in this country. One thing that sets America apart from the rest of the world is our blatant and unbridled commercialism pervasive in all things.

For frick's sake, what kind of crazy person walks into their dr's office and says, "Doc...I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but I just saw this great drug on TV I'd like you to consider prescribing for me...you know, in case I know more about my medical options than you do."

Seriously...frick all of them.

Wife is a pharmacist and we have had this exact same discussion 1000 times. I hate drug commercials. Plus, them having to list every side effect possible afterwards just kills the damn thing anyway

I actually really like the new Geico soccer slide commercial.

I’m sure it will be overplayed in a few days but I’m enjoying it for now.

Hahahahaha, I get every single one of those Medishare auditions from one of my agents. Never heard one in the wild though.
