No. This movie should not have been made. Evil dies tonight may be the reverse meme of the horror century so far. It's just so silly, so dumb, so awful and so featured that this film might as well be called Halloween: Evil Dies Tonight!

It sounds like a damn concert video more than a horror film.

Poster above me got it right. Absolutely atrocious movie. Someone convince me it was any different than Rob Zombies Halloween sequel. What a load of self important , nonsensical trash.

If he just wants to stand in his sister's room and look out the window can they just put burglar bars on the house and lock him in there? Just tell everybody in town to leave the house alone and let him look out the window.

Just saw it.

Gotta say that movie was terrible. The black nurse kill and the lightbulb kill were hilarious to me but all of the hospital scenes (evil dies tonight) and that ending monologue just took me right out of it. Horrible ending. If it’s on streaming maybe, but don’t make the mistake I did and spend money in the theater.

Horrible ending.

SPOILERS:

I have a feeling that the ending was a fake out. We will find out in the next movie that it was all in Laurie's mind and Karen is still alive. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I feel that retconning the story to make Laurie no longer Michael's little sister was a mistake. The shared blood bond between them could've been used to great effect with some good writing.

Saw this last night

Not bad but also not great. Typical bridge movie between Part 1 and Part 3

The kills were amazing for the most part. Exactly what I wanted to see. Just Mike brutally destroying people

The hospital stuff was ridiculous, Anthony Michael Hall was awful, the art house shite they did at the end with Mike killing everyone in the crowd was dumb

But the kills in the beginning were badass. When he stepped out the burning house and wrecked the firemen then went down the road a mercilessly killed the older couple…beautiful

P.S. I sat next to an openly racist couple who talked all movie and were mumbling the entire time that Michael needed to hurry up and kill all the white people….. ?

Has nothing to do with your thoughts on the movie.

Just watched. It’s crazy how well they “deep-faked” Donald Pleasance.

Wouldn't Myers be in his late 60s?

early 60s.

was said to be 6 at beginning of 1978 movie (set in 1963)
main bulk of movie was 15 years later (set in 1978), so he was 21 (but listed as 23 in the credits).
this one takes places exactly 40 years later (set in 2018).
so he’s 61 (and they should list his as 63 in credits as a call back, didn’t notice if they did or not).

People that over analyze a slasher film should die.

You know what it is when you go see it.

The end was Great! Finally acknowledging Michael as a supernatural like evil - Great!
