As an Alabama fan, that was a fun thread to read over again. This board is so desperate for Alabama to be bad.

What does “6-7” mean?
I've seen so many different responses to this question that I honestly don't believe these dumb MFers who go around using it know what it means.

I still haven't figured out exactly what 67 means, and honestly I don't give a shite. We live in a society full of smooth brained idiots, and this 67 bullshite is one example of many.

The SEC is the only conference in college football playing a REAL schedule. Why would we add to it? Why would any of the SEC institutions sign up to play anyone of any significance outside of our own conference?

re: What Alabama team is considered the best ever? Why are they never mentioned as best ever?

Keep telling yourself that, bud. There are a lot of people who disagree with you.

That's funny, because you would think if 2019 ended Alabama they would have probably gone 5-5 the next season (like LSU) and not ran through college football like a freight train on its way to the national championship, and greatest season, with the greatest team of all time.
Maybe 2019 ended LSU?

So what you're saying is ... that Alabama fans think about LSU a lot more than Auburn or Tennessee?
No. I'm saying, at least on this board, LSU is much more interesting to talk about because LSU fans cannot restrain themselves. It makes for interesting banter, which is clearly what this board is about.
When Gus had Auburn running at its peak, there was lots of discussion about Auburn. Since they let go their greatest coach in the history of the program, there's really nothing to talk about at the moment. They stink. They know they stink. We know they stink. We all know it's going to be a while before that changes.
We're all watching to see if Tennessee can remain relevant. They are starting to teeter a little bit. I think they have a good coach, but for some reason they can't quite get over the hump. They flirted with it a few seasons, but they've regressed a bit.
Whether or not LSU is any good is irrelevant. LSU fans will always engage and make it fun. Our "rivalry" is really more about this message board than it is reality.

My statement still stands imo...
"We're a mile wide and an inch deep."
If we're going to stay we should embrace it, imo. I go to another board to have serious football discussions. I still try to have serious discussion every so often. I used to try a lot more in my first few years of membership, but it's never going to happen here.
This board is what it is, and it won't be any different until ownership wants it to be. That's not on the horizon, in my opinion. Just for an example, one way to allow serious discussion would be to implement an ignore feature. I have asked for it many times, and I am always ignored. If the ignore feature was added, that would allow folks who would like to participate in serious discussion to do so without all the distraction. Again, I don't see that happening.

Frosted brown sugar and cinnamon. Pop it in the toaster oven to warm it up. Then put butter on it and let it melt down into the frosting....

What's to talk about? They've damn near become irrelevant.

Tennessee maybe?
After 15 years of irrelevance, sometimes we forget they are there. The hate is still there, we just don't want to acknowledge them if we don't have to. It feeds the hillbilly in them to be jackasses.
LSU however, you always take the bait. The LSU fan base is low hanging fruit.

They lost to 6-6 Iowa fricking State. BAMA's only loss was to #1 LSU. Grow up.
