I mean, I’ve seen it happen 2 or 3 times at least in my movie going years. Especially on the Saturday night shows

I mean, they did. I probably shouldn’t have included that in the post and I thought about removing it but didn’t. I was absolutely highly annoyed with them when I was writing this.

They were the worst people I’ve seen in a movie in a long time.

The man also turned on his flashlight at one point to look at his food and his significant other told him to stop and he said he doesn’t give a shite if people liked it or not. They were assholes, simple as that. Doesn’t require any sort of discourse or over though. It happened. I complained about it on here. And it’s over.

In a movie as ridiculous as this one, actually one of the better scenes

No, It’s weird because of big Jon little Jon names they kept saying over and over, not that they’re gay. I thought it was anyway

I mean, they’re scared and stoned. They’re trying to psyche each other up

He fought a group of 11 firefighters at the beginning(well 9 by the time he got out there) and a mob of like 20 at the end and they all decided to go at him 1v1. Then he somehow gets back to the house(which the police haven’t locked down yet!?! It’s a crime scene) and either kills/injures the daughter when she wanders off upstairs by herself.

2018 was much better.

These movies are an insult to one's intelligence. Just bait for dumbasses' monies.

Are there no special state police forces or swat teams in these movies?

Meh wasn’t great but wasn’t terrible. Plot and characters sucked but MM was the most badass he’s been in the entire series. Also enjoyed the OG callbacks.

This is supposed to be a small town so no swat is realistic and the state police are still on their way since the 1978.

I don’t buy Haddonfield wouldn’t have access to a SWAT team.

Rural areas and small towns usually pool their resources to provide regional coverage of such units

Yep. This movie is riddled with silly plot lines that make no sense.

Saw Kills tonight and 2018 is way better but I still liked this one. Was it good? No. But it did something that 2018 didn’t do for me. It made me actually afraid of Michael Myers.

As a horror movie, it works better than 2018. But 2018 is a vastly superior product as far as writing, pacing, character development, etc. Still, I’m surprised so many people are shitting on this one. I think the biggest complaint is too much focus on characters we don’t give a shite about, but that’s going to happen when you lock your best character in the hospital with nothing to do for the whole movie. This movie should have been the second half plus whatever they have cooked up for Halloween Ends. So so many movies want to make things trilogies instead of just two parts and all it does is drain the quality

I liked it. Good rental

It just always bothers me in these movies how there are no cops anywhere.

There is a massacre by a known serial killer and they have a few cops out on the town. Lol

They’d have every cop, state trooper, SWAT, military, etc.

And every cop can’t shoot for shite. The cop in 1978 missed 3x from 5 feet away

Another scene showed a girl bullying and beating up a boy.

I mean, nearly every movie and TV show for a few years now has women as the baddest people on the planet. Thankfully, I have a smart wife who also sees through it and thinks it's insulting.

Regarding this movie like someone else says it basically insults your intelligence.
