Anyone that has read the book knows who the killer is as long as they follow the plot but the plot is somewhat different thus far. If it follows the book the killer's identity is not the big reveal.

It is a good book, the series looks to be equally as good.

2. Franklin might be involved on some level. Maybe Johnathan told him that Elena was trying to blackmail him and he had her whacked.

Have they said who Donald Sutherland's character is yet other than her dad? He's obviously a big deal so I'm wondering who he is in the community

He was a financier, but is now retired.

I hope that they start tying things together.

They will. There are only six episodes in the series.

I think either Dad or Sylvia killed her. Dad may have been banging her, too and that would make me think he did it. Reasons posted above make me think Sylvia did it.

Bump---didn't think tonight's episode was that good.

Pretty terrible scene involving the suspect going to the dead girl's apartment - dialogue and completely insane move

My guess is that the other girl he cheated on his wife with is the blonde friend and he wrote her name down in the lawyer's office.

It was kind of filler, until the end. Not sure what's going on, but it looks like he may be ratting out (or framing) Kidman for killing her?

Think the last scene was a head fake to the audience to make us think he means Kidman as the killer but he really means the blonde lawyer chick .

The “cocksucker” scene with Sutherland is the very definition of what it’s like to have frick you money. God that was beautiful.

The thing that I can't really get over is that Jonathan pre-planned the excuse about the medical conference that didn't exist. His story that he fled because he knew he would be a suspect doesn't make sense, because he already planned on leaving before Elena was dead.

Yeah, blonde lawyer chick is the key to everything.

It's been given away with too many odd references to her by every character.

Maybe not so odd, as just not incidental

I agree they've been showing a lot of her for no specific reason, so she's probably involved somehow, but she seems like the type that would pay someone to do something like that, not do it. Who knows though.

I don't really care where this goes, honestly. The characters are interesting enough to keep me watching. I wish it was more than 6 eps

I told wife last night that they ALL killed her. Her, Jonathan, blonde lawyer, and her dad all took a swipe with the hammer. That's my take

Seriously though. Only thing im certain is that Jonathan didn't do it. You don't beat a side chick to death with a hammer to get her to go away. That's a crime of MAJOR anger. Only a woman could pull that off

Also, i thought the husband was friggin Grey Worm from GoT for the first 3 episodes. Looked it up and he is not the same person. What's he got to hide anyway? He knows something.

also, is the full frontal in episode 1 the first vag HBO has shown without a bush covering it up? I was shocked.

I thought you were saying that you thought Hugh Grant was the guy who played Grey Worm. Took me a sec to figure out what you were saying.

I'd never noticed it and didn't notice it on this show so I googled it, what the frick? All of that plastic surgery on her face and she's just like "oh the melting ear lobes are cool though"

This. Was starting to believe this was a plot hole since no one in the show is acknowledging it at all.
