I finished it. Still kinda confused but liking the show.

Digging this show. I know it’s a King novel but it feels more like the sequel to True Detective than True Detective season 2 and 3.

I asked them to the a number of posts down. I don't want to destroy the show for you guys. Episode 3 went by pretty quickly.

Anyone else bothered by Ben Mendelssohns wife? Bad casting IMO. They don’t look like a couple and she looks like his mom

Yes. Reminds me of Marty and his wife in Ozark.
Ralph’s wife was the frumpy girl from St Elmo’s Fire. Looked her up, she’s 60 and Mendelshon is 50 IRL.

I agree. I understand obviously why that character would hate Ralph, but they are making her incredibly annoying. It’s like she doesn’t understand that while she may hate this dude, he is her only chance right now at clearing Terry’s name and helping her family.
