Always thought this scene was BS. No fricking way you'd have players not hearing the explosions and still playing the game. He has no teammates on the field either...

I thought the most unrealistic part was Hines Ward returning a kick for a score

This exact scenario occurred my senior year in high school (starting long snapper, come at me), and I can promise it’s much more difficult to hear than you’d think. Especially when it’s a heated battle with the cross-town rival.

Dude was locked in the same way Bruce got locked in to climb out of the pit.

Mental focus blocks out explosions and heals a broken spine, it's scientific fact.

he doesnt appear to have a single blocker or teammate on the field, and the coverage team as as far as 40-50 yards behind the play

Well it’s not the Steelers. Pittsburgh is a separate city in the DC world

You're clearly not a competitor.

All you hear is yourself breathing to the theme song of chariots of fire

It's fiction. All of it is bs.

Don't understand why people nit pick works of fiction. Well that would never happen. No shite! And a billionaire wouldn't dress up in a suit and fight crime.

It's not the Steelers but it is Ward and a nod to the fact that Pittsburgh is the city where the movie was shot
