The football scene in The Dark Knight Rises

Always thought this scene was BS. No fricking way you'd have players not hearing the explosions and still playing the game. He has no teammates on the field either...

This exact scenario occurred my senior year in high school (starting long snapper, come at me), and I can promise it’s much more difficult to hear than you’d think. Especially when it’s a heated battle with the cross-town rival.

he doesnt appear to have a single blocker or teammate on the field, and the coverage team as as far as 40-50 yards behind the play
