So he is banging actual pop stars, actresses and models in real life and it's out of the question that he could falso do that as a fictional character?
Like I said, he's not necessarily my cup of tea but he's attractive. And I know women who find him more attractive than I do. The only one I didn't find attractive in the original 3 listed was Josh O'Connor. And that's largely because I can't unsee him as a young King Charles (he's a very good actor though).

I have to at least believe that he's physically attractive. I don't see how that is controversial. Kind of important for the character. You want Paul Giamatti as Bond? But go ahead and call people gay, I'm sure that's helped you win arguments since middle school.
You're not wrong.
I do think it's worth pointing out that I don't know that Daniel Craig was necessarily considered "Bond attractive" before he was in the role. IMO he was the least attractive of the Bonds we've had in recent memory.

Why are two dudes named Handsome Pete and Willie Stroker arguing about how hot James Bond needs to be? You're both suspect.
That’s hilarious. I upvoted.

Jack Lowden should be the pick and il be shocked if he's not
I actually like Callum Turner to be in a bond film but not as bond. Could be a different 00 agent or someone adversarial IMO

I couldn't have told you a single thing about GL prior to watching this other than he's some sort of superhero with a ring. I'd never heard the names Hal Jordan or John Stewart in this context and had no preconceived notions about their personalities or character traits. It was probably worse for people invested in the IP but it wasn't good regardless.
You never watched Justice League or Justice League Unlimited? John Stewart was the GL for that.
You never watched any of the animated movies produced by DC that featured Hal Jordan?

Pretty sure dude gets triggered by his own shadow at this point.

Eh they seem to be going for younger actors which likely means a younger Bond which given how good the last game was I actually wouldn't mind that story

Funny how Aaron Taylor-Johnson is no longer even mentioned as a candidate. A year ago James Bond was his part to lose. He probably has more of the look and physicality of JB than these finalists.
That said, I never trusted him because he married an old lady and took her name. Very, very, suspect.

I watched Justice League cartoons in the 70s.

No. I think the only animated feature length film I've seen was the Spiderverse one.

Same reason I watch anything, I thought it might be entertaining. I'd never heard of The Watchmen at all before the movie, let alone their real names. I hope it's ok with you that I watched that one; I didn't realize there was some DC Loyalty Quiz I was supposed to pass before I watch something DC related.

Gee, what choices they've thrown out there. An unremarkable Ed Sheeran clone and two homely big-eared fops that look like the same person.

Super Friends? That featured Hal Jordan, though not initially.

You're the one who said this:

If they'd been two original characters 12 people would have watched it if it ever got made at all, which is unlikely.

So I asked why did you watch it... because you implied no one would be interested in it if it had original characters, but from your perspective they were original characters.

They were unknowns, the GL super hero was not. This really isn't that complicated, but make it so in your head if you must.

Whatever reinvention of the conversation you need to make the narrative work, go for it.
