I'm absolutely against remakes and reboots but would be totally fine with them completely wiping the slate clean and starting over with Spectre. fricking travesty how badly Eon and that unfrickable count Barbara Broccoli fumbled that bag and we deserve so much better.

He's probably the safest pick. Not bad.

Yeah, he has a name, but isn't a massive movie star. He's famous (mostly for his wife), but has had a decent amount of roles

DV was clearly going for a type with his height and age (with Elordi in the running as well), and I've seen some commenters say that his face is very similar to how Bond was described at times in the novels

The only thing I would say is I have never seen him have much charm or charisma in a film

Surprising. Wouldve been my last pick of the 3 remaining. His last couple movies have been complete duds

I've only seen him in "One Night Only" and he's nothing special in that film

Great, just what they need, a Bond with the screen presence of a turnip

Craig could never in a million years be the best Bond. Connery was the best and likely will always be the best, no matter how many more movies they make.

That pic of Pierce Brosnan reminds me of why it’s hard to accept him as James Bond.

It’s like watching Derek Zoolander flashing the Blue Steel face throughout the movie.

Casino Royale is the best Bond movie IMO and he was a great Bond that just was hurt by terrible scripts after Casino Royale.

I won't say anyone is better than Connery, but he's my number 2. I'm still so bitter they followed Casino Royale with those generic action flicks that didn't even feel like Bond movies.

Craig sucks. If there is one rule for James Bond it is don't make him a wimp. Skinny jug ears would not be my first pick.

Callum is my least favorite pick. I was really hoping the dude from slow horses would get it

I thought both Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan were both soft. It was hard to buy into fight scenes.

Josh O'Conner would be a stunner, though he was good in the last Knives Out movie. I prefer him over Callum Turner at least. O'Conner is a good actor and can definitely go dark and brooding, if that's what they want (which would be consistent with every other Villeneuve protagonist).

He is BY FAR the best actor out of him and the likes of Turner or Elordi.

Actually a very good actor.

He’s just not traditionally handsome.

Uh oh, you can't say that. People in this thread will think you're gay.

Yeah I’m one of those people making fun of the fruits on here only talking about that.

It probably does have to be said with OConnor a little bit though
