It’s great. Acting is top notch, well-written, lots of really good guest stars, the soundtrack is fantastic (lots of Wilco, REM, Pearl Jam). There are a couple of episodes that are as good as anything that’s been on TV.
It’s a really good show. Picked up some well deserved awards.

“Heard” and “corner” are standard restaurant procedures that have been around for a long time. “Door” is also pretty common if there is a door to the kitchen. Your janitorial staff may have restaurant experience.
It is a great show…very realistic…the Christmas dinner episode is one of the best TV episode ever…

Anxiety. All of the anxiety. Even if you don't have anxiety this show will give it to you.
I’m four episodes in…and yes, this is true.
I’m enjoying it so far.

Loving this show. Never heard of it until this thread.
Accidently watched the season 2 finally first and was hooked. Now I'm watching how they get there and I'm completely engaged.
Honestly not a bad way to do it.

Let me guess, lots of yelling?

Carmy yells and whines like a little bitch as usual.
I love the rest of the characters though. Great show.

most ... if not, all of the show is incredible. Punctuated by a great soundtrack.

I only watched season 1, so i cant comment on season 2, but this has to be one of the most overrated shows i've ever seen.
Season 1 was good. Not award winning. Doesn't deserve this much hype whatsoever. I can think of multiple other shows that got no love at all that blow this show out the water.

The finale and Christmas episodes get all the press but Richie’s training episode was my favorite of the series so far.

Pretty great - changed my whole outlook on his character which is great writing. Loved the snippet of him singing Taylor Swift in the car whilst road raging (may be a different ep).

There were a couple of TV critics that said the Richie episode was the best of the season - I agree with you too. He’s my favorite character and it was rewarding to see him grow in that episode and get more insight in what makes him tick.

I had forgotten that they had agreed to send them all to training. So when Richie's episode happened, I thought it was some kind of dream. But nonetheless, it was an awesome episode. I almost wish he could have stayed at the other restaurant. But the way the finale went, you knew he made the right decision.
Also, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Tina. Her character has come a long way since Sydney took her under her wing.

I mean you haven't finished the show so your opinion don't really matter

Just started the Christmas episode.

Forks was my favorite episode of the series and probably my favorite thing I watched all last year. The last minutes of the finale were excellent though. I rewatched Forks, Honeydew (Marcus in Amsterdam), Fishes, and The Bear (finale) a few weeks ago. It’s just top notch writing performances all around.

Was a mess and not good. Just yelling. Forks is the masterpiece.

Just started the Christmas episode.
This episode makes the following episode, Forks, that much better.
Fishes is such a fricking anxiety inducing mess, its riveting television but it chews you up and spits you out.
And then in the very next episode you get Forks, which is quiet, controlled, and transforms a tough character to fully love into a much better man and a "hero" of sorts.
Just wonderful TV all around.
