I will preface this by saying I just watched the first episode and have not read this thread.
The acting and dialogue so far is awful. Obi was bad but not this bad. Jar Jar Binks is more enjoyable than what I am seeing so far. These Jedi look the part of ordinary people with no higher intelligence, higher purpose, and a lot of emotion. Like attending the Jedi Temple is like attending a private school. It is perceived to be better but, in the end, no different than going to a public school.
I really hope the story gets better going forward because the characters so far being introduced lack any excitement.
Also, I assume Sol and maybe the Jedi her sister killed will end up having something to do with her family being killed and her sister is out for revenge. Again, just hope the story progresses well.

It’s pretty established that travel in Star Wars is pretty fast.
right. So by your "pretty fast" logic, Han, Luke, Chewwy, and Obi-Wan definitely should've made it to Alderaan before the Death Star got there then...right?
how the frick do you justify Sol & Co. leaving a planet after encountering Mae, traveling back to Coruscant (a core world) to have a redundant and lengthy conversation with not the Jedi Council, only to then leave the Core Worlds, travel to the Outer Rim to chase Mae and Greasy and get there within the seemingly within the hour Mae and Greasy get there!?
traveling through hyper-space isn't THAT fast.

Easy - the show runners don’t care about anything making sense.

Why are you here? You don’t watch the show and all of your talking point arguments have been debunked so what are you doing here besides being a giant hypocrite?

I watch and like the show. I sometimes try to read others posts, but most of them do not hang on to my attention because the anti woke agenda is more important than discussing the show.

What do you think is the strongest aspect of the show? The acting? The writing?
Set design? World-building? The lead characters' arcs?

I am interested to see if the sisters will remain on opposite sides of force use and if the show will get into force dyads. i am interested to see if the sith figure will be a legends character. I am interested in what the jedi really did to the coven. The show can take several possible interesting turns that can enrich aspects of canon material.

Why are you here? Why are you so upset by posters that have a different opinion than you?

Well, considering that would break lore, you'll probably see that as well.
quote:
The Doctrine of the Dyad was a concept centered on the Force dyad. The Doctrine of the Dyad featured prominently in the lore of the Sith Eternal, a Sith cult that prophesized the birth of a dyad. The power of the dyad went unseen for generations by the time of the New Republic Era, when the fall of the New Republic gave way to a war between the First Order and the Resistance.
Eons before the time of Darth Sidious, the Doctrine of the Dyad was etched into the walls of the Sith Citadel on Exegol, serving as a reminder of the dyad's significance to the Sith Order. During the Republic Era, Darth Plagueis sought to create a dyad with Sidious, his Sith apprentice, but his attempt was unsuccessful. Sidious also tried and failed to create a dyad with his own apprentice, Darth Vader. It would be decades before he discovered that a dyad had formed naturally between his granddaughter and Vader's grandson, Rey and Kylo Ren.
So Plagueis and Sidious can't create life, but these lesbo witches can, and they can't form a force Dyad, but the lesbo witches can, even though they do this all in secret and no one ever knows about it in the future.

would be real enriching, sure.

Why did a gay coven of witches shock anybody. There are no dudes. How can they not be lesbians. Really dumb that offended or shocked anybody.

It’s a movie/tv board and we’re discussing a show, you’re not. I’m not upset about anything, you are so answer your own question, why are you so upset?

Remember that time when you cried like a little baby because everyone was being mean to you, and then you said you were not going to come back anymore? That was really nice. Any chance you could do another disappearing act?
