Good writing and performances can overcome a lot, including woke nonsense

I'd let her frick with my discourse

Exactly and this is the show. Nothing makes any sense it’s just one scene after another without any real continuity or reason leading them to the next thing. You put someone you believe to be murdering Jedi on a standard prisoner transport with nothing but a droid to watch them? Thats one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen but also common in this show.

Correct, this show treats traveling through hyperspace like fast travel in Skyrim. quote:
It’s pretty established that travel in Star Wars is pretty fast.
They just don’t show every travel scene.
quote:
Mae's goal to kill the four Jedi Masters who were on her planet when everyone died changes because of a really long walk in the woods.
she literally says it’s because her sister is alive. which is a pretty big difference.

Anakin now apparently not being the only one created by the Force due to being The Chosen One. The lesbian space witches did it first. Ki-Adi-Mundi is 70 years old at the time of The Phantom Menace, however, he is alive and well during a show that takes place at least 30 years BEFORE his birth. None of the math, maths.
I know you’re not satisfied with the take that the force which creating the twins is different than the force itself creating someone.
Are you really upset about Ki-Ari-Mindi’s age being ignored? Did you really know how old he was before the internet got up in arms about it?
disney has never committed to lore outside the shows and movies. I get how fans have committed years to this stuff, but I dont understand why you can’t accept that Disney would rather creative freedom. It doesn’t make sense to get that upset about something with so tangential a source.
I also don’t get the complaints about the quality. I think the sets and costumes are great.

“Women like us weren’t accepted by the republic”
You mean dark force users? Yea I don’t think that has anything to do with you being female lady.

If the sith is the mom, why would she not reveal herself to her long lost daughter earlier rather than sending her on secret missions first?
i had the same question which is why I would give the show a 0 if it’s her.

My favorite
quote:
Sol: I saw her die
5 minutes later
Osha: She's alive
Sol: I believe you
quote:Writers putting on an absolute clinic of dialog
Mae: I will stop you from leaving
Osha: How?
Mae: I'll kill you

-The travel doesn’t make sense. When both groups leave to go after Cal the Jedi go back to headquarters for awhile, possibly weeks while Mae and Greasy head straight for Cal’s planet yet they arrive at the same time. There’s no hyperspace explanation for that.

quote:
Sol: I saw her die 5 minutes later Osha: She's alive Sol: I believe you
Sol first said “I saw her die”
Then said “she was presumed dead”
They didn’t put Mae in Osha’s file
there is a lot going on.

The jedi went to Coruscant, did shite, grabbed a gerbil, and made it back, in less than 3 hours
That is bad.
Game of Thrones season 8 bad

The dialogue is so bad people think a guy who can’t speak English is having the best performance on the show.

That’s what i’m talking about when I say people are intentionally ignoring what’s going on.
Sol’s story changed because he’s lying about something.

He is wasted on this horrible writing
Giving the kid the lightsaber was pretty damn retarded, though
I am continuing ONLY because season 1 of Russian Doll was so good.
Lesbian Headband wrote that one,

that’s honestly the boat I am in.
she has shown the ability to write a compelling mystery show with a central
mystery that’s slowest revealed through the characters efforts.
I am not seeing that here.

I took it to be his guard was down.
although lying is probably the wrong word. He’s hiding something.
also, the whole “why does he believe her” thing sorta goes out the window in a franchise that established force users have a general sense of people’s feeling and it’s useful at spotting lies.
Sol at least believes Osha believes what she is saying. He also clearly has an attachment to Osha and wants to believe her.
