The yellow sabers are a Legends/KOTOR concept.
Consulars are Blue and focus on saber combat.
Guardians are Green and focus on Force abilities.
Sentinels are Yellow and balance the two above
Lorewise it could be a symptom of the Jedi losing their way at the end of the Republic, but in reality Lucas just didn’t care enough to include them.
Yes, I am aware of this. Practically the only reason green exists is because blue doesn't show up well against the Tatooine sand.

Whips add usefulness for wrapping around things to grab/yank, or swing
A light whip can't do any of that

Caught both episodes tonight and am enjoying it so far. Dude from Squid Games is great.
I went in with not much expectations after seeing the trailer with the whips, but I've enjoyed the first two episodes so far. It's refreshing to get a jedi story that has absolutely nothing to do with palpatine or a skywalker.
Visually, the production value is leaps and bounds better than Ahsoka, seasons 2 and 3 of the Mandalorian and obviously Boba Fett. Some of the costumes and sets of those shows looked like it was people trying to cosplay Star Wars. Didn't get that vibe in these first two episodes.

Agreed. I think the performances have been solid too. I went in expecting to hate Amandla Stenberg’s (sp?) character but I don’t.
The story is…strange…to put it nicely. Hopefully the show dives deeper into the Sith and dark side as we go. Otherwise, I don’t really see how this could be a multi-season show. What could have been some nice conflict and dramatic tension with the Jedi suspecting Osha and for Osha to try and find her sister was basically already resolved in the first two episodes. So fricking stupid.
At this point, I’m really only going to watch to see who Mae’s master is and if that character will become a focal point in the show and we see some Sith shite with them working in the shadows to set up the fall of the Jedi. Them hiding the identity of the Master puts a lot of pressure on the show to make the character someone we know from the show or from canon and it will most likely be disappointing.

Only 1 episode in, but it's not the woke-tastic DEIEIO extravaganza I was expecting/fearing. At least not at first.
It makes me hopeful that they'll eventually embrace an Old Republic property.

My guess is Mae’s master is Plagueis’ apprentice. Mae is training to be his apprentice after he overthrows Plagueis, but he will fail.

1000% trash.
This is nothing but an alphabet mafia agenda driven fanfic self insert by narcissistic Lesly Headland, aka Harvey’s former personal assistant.
Even using her ”wife” in the show as the story rips off Star Wars proper with a set of twins…
* all you Disney-philes who downvote anything critical of your trash Stah-Wor garbage need to face facts. The writers and directors of these shows have zero imagination. This is just recycled member berries using chatGPT for content. These are tourist doing nothing but feeding off the corpse of an already dead franchise.

I watched the first two episodes and thought it was solid. Did Carrie Ann Moss really show up for the first 5 minutes and die?? That’s kinda weak if so.

Right out of the gate I caught someone talking about a family dying and it was mentioned as “her mothers”, not her “mother and father”. Tired of constantly being feed an agenda by Disney…..

His apprentice was Darth Sidious, who hasn’t been born yet as this story is set a full century before the events of Phantom Menace. In fact, at this time, the Dark Lord of the Sith was Darth Tenebrous..
He remained the top Sith until he was murdered by Plageus about 40 years before Phantom Menace. During the time of this story, Plageus would be between 20 and 40 years old. It was around this time he became the apprentice of Tenebrous. But he would be very early in his apprenticeship.

After reading that, I take back my guess
I had assumed it was possible that he had an apprentice before Palps, similar to Palps going through Maul and Dooku. But my timeline is off

Well, it’s entirely possible the director screwed with the timeline for all we know.

I think we will see some significant flashback scenes featuring the Jedi she is hunting. The Jedi she poisoned is the kid that played Tommen in GoT and the supporting actor in 1917, so hiring him just to age him up doesn’t seem like a smart move unless we see him young.
