Really enjoyed this episode solely based on the fact it reminded me of so many random all nighters I've had. Only thing missing was walking out of the club/bar and being blinded by the morning sun.

Really disappointed with the episode which sucks cause I was looking forward to it. For an episode dedicated to Beards POV, we got absolutely no insight into him. Possibly weakest episode of the series which is disappointing cause I love me some beard

It's a filler episode but there were some great parts to it. I honestly thought Beard was tripping balls and everything was an illusion.

I thought the episode and this entire season have pretty much sucked.
I was drinking but was the ending to the episode him walking into a random church, and attached to said church is a kind of church nightclub, and in that nightclub is his chick (because of course she's in there), who is now into him again?

Yeah, I bailed on this one early on. Subsequent descriptions on here have confirmed this as the right move. It sounds like a 90's afternoon soap opera.

This and the Christmas episodes were tacked on after the season was made, and were both terrible. The season has been very uneven at best.

As someone posted earlier in this thread, the show is about Father/Son relationships and we saw 2 more instances in this episode. We had the aftermath of Jamie's POS dad and his friend's with Beard and then you had British Bautista-lite doing the right thing to save him after originally being jealous of Beard and threatening him and explaining why. I think that we will think this episode is filler but there may be call backs to it in the future.

Agreed. I assume this was one of the post completed season extra 3 episodes that apple ordered but that’s no excuse to completely mail it in. I was hoping we’d get at least an understanding of why the hell this guy would follow Ted all the way to London. We know why Ted went to London but other than simply beard being single and teds friend we have no clue on why he would follow him to another country to coach a sport he’s never coached

This episode was vastly better than the insipid Christmas episode. Still not great, didn’t advance the story, but pleasant enough.

I'm shocked that some of y'all didn't like the Beard episode. It was my favorite in the entire series.
