The Voyage Home is #4. Must be some kinda joke list.

I hated Star Trek 2009, but actually liked Into Darkness.

Surprised The Motion Picture is ranked behind ST09 and Generations.

Actually, it you swap Star Trek 2009 with voyage home on that list, and move Into the Darkness up to middle of the pack I'd pretty much agree with that list.

But I wasn't much of a fan of Into the Darkness.

Could have been good if they left out the (spoiler!)...

Kirk dies this time instead of Spock. Way too much fanfiction.

Probably because the Enterprise didn't fire a single shot.

I'm kinda struck that the Whales from Outer Space installment is received so warmly in retrospect

I think it's more that about half of the Star Trek movies are frigging terrible or meh at best. The save the whales movie is by no means great, but it's at least fairly amusing and an average movie overall.

No way Into Darkness was the worst Trek movie. Final Frontier was just plain shite.

Into Darkness was actually a good movie. Nerds get their panties in a twist over way too much.

It's great entertainment even without a giant conflict.

By far the most amusing. The story is meh but watching them all run around in the 1980s makes up for it. Spock dressed like the Karate Kid? Scotty trying to talk to the computer? Come on you know you love that

As a life-long Star Trek fan I can honestly say that Into Darkness was nowhere near the worst Star Trek movie and I thought it was just OK.

It was the worst star trek movie I've ever seen. It was a complete embarrassment.
