Edgar Ulmer directed horror classic with Karloff & Lugosi at the top of their craft



another film from Ulmer, this time a B-picture after he was blackballed, featuring Ann Savage with one of the most intensely misandrist performances in cinema history



also known as Clouds Over Europe, an absolute gem of pre-WWII British cinema featuring two future Knights of the Realm (Ralph Richardson as a brilliant and hilarious MI officer and an impossibly handsome Laurence Olivier as a dashing test pilot)

Don't know how off the radar Winters Bone is but that is an outrageously good film.
